Research On Development Of Corporate Technology Innovation Competence With Kowledge-based View

At the era of knowledge economy, knowledge is the most important resource for corporate innovation. Studies on innovation management concentrated on solving problems arising from carrying out R&D activities in the past, and now it changes to attach importance to knowledge creation in innovation process. The essence of innovation is knowledge creation, and knowledge development has its intrinsic attributes. To enhance independent innovational competence has become the national strategy in our country. Although technology innovation is a hot term, actually there is still some maze in understanding technology innovation for ignoring the law of knowledge development. Rare domestic research with knowledge based-view is related to innovational competence. With knowledge-based view, this research aims at exploring the development mechanism of corporate innovational competence.With literature research and case study, the main content and results of this research are listed as follows:Firstly, through literature review this research sort the study on technology innovation with knowledge-based view into two types. One is concentrated on the effect that knowledge management has on technology innovation. The other is how can knowledge management help to realize the aim of organization innovation.Secondly, based on theories of organization innovation, knowledge management, organization learning, this research proposed a frame model of corporate technology innovational competence development, namely"a model of corporate technology innovation development with knowledge-based view". Then the influence of organizational knowledge attributes (i.e. knowledge depth, knowledge width and knowledge density) on corporate technology innovational competence is explored.Thirdly, the three attributes of knowledge base are expatiated, and each of them is given a definition. Based on this work, a model of measurement of organization knowledge base for technology innovation is proposed.Fourthly, based on the knowledge convening & fermenting model for organization learning, this research takes it as an effective method for corporate technology innovational competence development, and propose"a model of corporate technology innovational competence development based on knowledge convening & fermenting". Then it explores the source of originality and the function of knowledge broker.
