With the economic globalization, the strategic importance of technological standards has become more and more critical.Standard competition has become one of the most essential means of those developed countries to maintain their technological monopoly and to obtain huge profits.Hence, it's compulsory and urgent for the Chinese to analyze the nature of the dynamics of standard competition and to find out the suitable strategies for domestic enterprises. This is exactly what this dissertation tries to solve.According to the above purposes, this dissertation applies game theory and system dynamics method to analyze the dynamic process of standards competition. It's organized as follows.Firstly, a three-stage dynamic standard competition model is constructed and the functioning mechanisms of those key influencing factors are analyzed both theoretically and empirically. Secondly, a full analysis is given into two important roles in standard competition dynamics-enterprise standard alliance and government, from the cooperation-competition aspect and public policy aspect respectively. Based on the above analysis, a system dynamic model of standard competition is constructed and simulated to give in-depth insight into the standard competition status both at home and abroad. Moreover, suitable strategic suggestions are also put forward for both the Chinese government and domestic enterprises to take more effective parts in the international standard competition.Large amount of innovative work has been done on the analysis of interworking mechanisms, the construction of theoretical models, the gathering and processing of data and multi-case comparison. This dissertation is funded by'The Fund for PhD Candidate Paper of Beijing Science & Technology Committee'with the Fund No.ZZ0915.
