Analysis And Evaluation Of Iron Ore Import Risk Based On Supply And Demand Security

To study risk of iron ore imports, reference previous research results, this paper discusses the need for iron ore imports in China, has a comprehensive analysis of risk factors of iron ore imports on the basis of production-consumption elasticity coefficient, related industries correlation coefficient, foreign dependence and other related basic theory, Because the meaning of iron ore imports risk has extensive and complex nature, according to the selection principles of evaluation, this paper constructs the risk evaluation index system for iron ore import, which incudes import sources risk, import market risk, transportation corridor risk, contingency reserves risk, import management risk, financial risk, the risk of non-product market competition, and other indicators. The paper performs synthesize evaluation for the risk of iron ore import by using fuzzy mathematics method. In this study, a risk assessment system is established on the basis of the risk factors evaluation for China's iron ore imports, in order to imply basis for decision making immediately for iron ore imports risk managers when they face to iron ore import market of unpredictable in the future, and to effectively prevent losses of iron steel enterprise economy and country benefits.
