The diversity of earth science system decides the complexity of research, and researchers have realized the importance of research through system point of view. In the process of relative earth science data processing and analyzing, the need for integrated earlier information system and data share and exchange becomes imperative and urgent, and how to integrate these independent earlier information systems to resolve the information island and realization of data share and change are mainly discussed in the thesis. It is also an main purpose to build a standard,expansively, maintainable information platform so as to serve earth science system.The paper has done research on the standard model of building geological data center, pointing to construct an geological data center to store and handle data in the guidance of standard system of science data share engineering. Cyber-infrastructure is a software base for geological data in it to exchange and share, is a technical safeguard for them to integrate, share and exchange. The paper constructed resources and environmental remote sensing cyber-infrastructure on the basis of studying the current development situation of earth science cyber-infrastructure. The main content includes perfecting and complementing metadata in the early information system of resources and environmental remote sensing, in accordance with standard for geological information metadata (version 2006), adopting two-level metadata management, mapping mode based on model driver, XML and reflection technique to achieve metadata management and exchange and metadata service.To make good use of the high performance of cluster server, the paper construted multi-ArcSDE and multi-Oracle instance of resources and environmental remote sensing in the high performance cluster server, which integrated provincial-level remote sensing database, ecological environment, mine monitoring and projects results databases. It has achieved index service, data service and fruit information service by using techniques as multi-level distributed spatial index, ArcGIS Server Components, achieved system management through techniques as user authority management based on data share and active directory, developed web site for resources and environmental remote sensing information to provide related service and realize resources and environmental remote sensing data share and exchange.It also discussed the method to integrate heterogeneous data sources by Web Services, which provides the expansion of data share and exchange at resources and environmental remote sensing cyber-infrastructue. In support of hardware and software for geological data, resources and environmental remote sensing cyber-infrastructure builds a mass dataset holding surveying data like resources and environmental remote sensing, using united data integration plan, which provide data support for IT management and research of land and resources and geological survey.Finally, the paper discussed GeoSciML and ontology-based interoperability,and described the development trend for resources and environmental remote sensing cyber-infrastructure will progress toward semantics and intelligence, allowing earth science researcher free from sophisticated information technology, and then promoting cross-discipline and fusion in earth system science research.
