Coal self-ignition seriously affects the development of coal industry, and bringsabout great potential security problems for mine production. Because the process ofcoal self-ignition under practical conditions is quite complicated and may be affectedby various factors, so the development of forecasting and prediction technique of coalspontaneous combustion period has been restricted seriously.This article researches the coal sample of Sun-Cun and establishes a set ofexperimental system.The experimental system allows the coal sample to be taken fromspot and to do experiment in the coal mine. The results of the experiment do havecertain guiding significance. Based on the spontaneous combustion theory and experimental determination of the coal sample, the article elaborates the change in thetemperature of coal sample, the concentration of various gases, coal-oxygenexothermic rate, evaporation capacity of water as well as the analytical volume of gasand other factors during the process of the generating and developing of coal, analysesthe reaction mechanism of different oxidation phases during the process ofcoal-ignition. This article also calculates the important parameters of coal spontaneouscombustion through software pursuant to experimental data, and gets the changing lawof important parameters of the coal during the process of coal-ignition.The researchresults show that the established experimental system can simulate the coal-ignitionwell, and the changing law of spontaneous combustion parameters calculated hascertain practice guiding significance for the mine production.
