Study On Technological Strategy Of Existing Building Reuse Based On Purpose

The current urban development model of China’s has largely shifted on urbanrenewal, extending life of existing buildings, and protecting historical features of city,which has became the focus of attention. However, there still has huge deviation inactual operation, the phenomenon such as "Protection type failure,"" Preparation ofrestoration” has occurred, mainly reflecting the lack of re-use technology conceptsand strategy in the contemporary era. The paper has analyzed re-use technologystrategy, summarized specific re-use application strategies on different purpose, inorder to play a role in promoting and learning from the practice of re-use of existingbuildings in China.Start from the perspective of historical studies, the paper has detailed thehistorical evolution of technological development on re-use of existing buildings inChina and the West; analysis feature on the characteristics of re-use technologystrategy in different period from a social, cultural and economic point of view; andsummarized the re-use ideas reflected in the Applied Process Technologies.Start from the perspective of philosophical, the paper has combined thecharacteristics of objective purpose on technology use; analysed technologycharacteristic on re-use of Existing buildings from protection historical value,Function Transformation and Efficacy improvement, and summarize thecorresponding technical strategy.The reuse of Existing buildings often has its own complexity and uniqueness,technology integration and optimization are effective ways to improve the overallperformance of technology. This paper has presented technology integration andoptimization on process of re-use of existing buildings at different levels, summarizedapplication practice of Parametric Technology in contemporary, and proposedtechnology integration and optimization strategies based on open architecture.The paper, combined with the specific engineering practice that author hasinvolved in, has analyzed and summarized the gains and losses of existing buildingsre-use strategy in practice, on the basis of which analyzed the situation current re-usetechnology in China, pointing out the insignificance, and proposing appropriateimproved methods. At present, the re-use of existing buildings of China is in full swing, and righttechnology strategy can avoid the blindness in the process of practice, and it is thefoundation to enhance the value of the existing building. Based on evaluation value,this paper has proposed the point of using different technical strategies for differentpurposes on re-use of Existing buildings, and enhanced the overall performance oftechnology techniques in the optimization and integration process, wishing to makesome contribution to re-use of Existing buildings in China.
