Archaeoastronomy study of ancient architecture in foreign countries over thepast century has been a rapid development. The astronomy characteristic of a lot ofancient architecture has been revealed.In China, People’s minds are bound by the traditional philosophy. The ancientarchitecture and astronomy studies have not given adequate attention. For this reason,it make people aware of the ancient architecture is not comprehensive enough.There are three reasons to study this subject:1. Collect relevant information on the astronomical archeology. For a preliminaryunderstanding of the overview of the development of the astronomy building. Makeup the the current lack information of the archaeoastronomy.2. Restore the relationship between the ancient architecture and astronomy.Analyze the astronomical features of the architecture.3. Analyze the astronomy features of typical cases so as to clear the guidance toarchitecture of astronomical science and technology. Thus reveal the scientific natureof the ancient architecture.On the basis of the information in the comb, using multi-disciplinary researchmethods, first analyze the Causes of astronomical building construction from a macroperspective, and then analyze the Universal law to the astronomical features of thesame type of architecture.On the basis of a comprehensive grasp of astronomy building information, thefirst chapter of this paper initially completed the division of the types of ancientastronomical architecture. For typical phenomenon in the culture of ancientarchitecture, the second chapter explores to propose some thoughtful arguments frommultiple perspectives. By collecting the orientation characteristics of ancientarchitecture, the third chapter analyzes the astronomy factors to the ancientarchitecture orientation changed. After classifying astronomical architecture, thefourth chapter discusses the relationship between astronomical calendar and ancientarchitecture. Combine the characteristics of religious doctrine and religiousarchitecture, Chapter5finishing astronomy-related information of the religiousarchitecture. In order to break the shackles of the traditional philosophy, the lastchapter in the text tries to analysis with the astronomy features of Chinese ancientarchitecture with typical examples.
