| Urban spatial structure is the distribution relationships of the urban elements in theurban space, and its essence is the geographic projection of various elements of thefunctional organization in the urban space. Urban spatial structure is the accumulationof the material civilization and spiritual civilization’s development among the differenthistorical stages, also with the development of the city evolving. At present, China is ina rapid urbanization and economic development period, and the increasing urbanpopulation causes the growth of the urban land use, the expansion of the city space, thereorganization of the urban function, with pushing the rapid evolution of urban spatialstructure. It not only intensifies the deterioration of the mountain city which hasrelatively fragile ecological environment, but also causes the geological disasters tohappen. Because of the constraints of mountain urban population and resources, citydevelopment and ecological security, on the one hand, the spatial structure of urbandevelopment cries for the adequate theories to explain, for designing a reasonable spacestrategy and governance framework; on the other hand, the real spatial developmentalso provides opportunities and a wealth of material to explore in this area.In view of this, this paper bases on the current situation that the research aboutmountain city spatial structure is lacking, and selects most of the mountain cities asthe objects of this study. From the perspectives of the mountain environment features, traffic characteristics and cultural marks, it has summarized a variety of mountain cityspace structure map. This thesis takes the representative evolutions of the mountainousland features and the expansion of urban spatial form as a starting point, and makes amore complete study about the evolution of mountain urban form, including ancient, modern, contemporary urban spatial structure characteristics, to strive to summarize thediscipline of the evolution of urban spatial structure. Then, this paper further explores the relationship between the evolution of urbanspatial structure and city natural ecological environment, social culture, political system, technological, economic impact and so on. On this basis, it proposes the internalmechanism of the evolution of mountain urban spatial structure, that is, open andnon-equilibrium being the premise of the evolution, the fluctuation and instability beingthe cause of the evolution, gradation and mutation being the approach to develop, branch and choice being the path of the evolution, and as well competition and cooperation being the force of evolution. It also summarizes the space-time couplingmodel of the evolution of mountain urban space. Finally, basing on the actual dilemmaof the evolution of mountain urban space, with combining the mechanisms, this studyputs forward an approach of the construction and the optimization from the four aspectsof the fully open, ecological security, dynamic growth and efficient coordination. It allows us effectively to guide the development to a stable and sustainingdirection by planning program and controlling process, and to promote the developmentof mountain urban space coupled with the time, coordinated with the economy, coexisted with the environment. With a view of globalization, urbanization, at thisaccelerating development stage, this paper provides ideas for the western citydevelopment and optimization of the mountain city spatial structure. |
