Based On The "Transit City", Study On The Optimizing Of The Transportation Structure Of Mountain City

With the development of social economy, the improvement of people’s livingstandards and the speeding up of urbanization and motorization, Chinese cities,especially the mountain cities facing more and more serious problems such as trafficcongestion, environmental pollution and high energy consumption. To alleviating theseproblems, China has proposed to build "transit city" strategic vision, and more than tencities in the country have became the pilot cities. According to the different ofcharacteristics between mountain city and general plain city, discussing the optimizingof the transportation structure of mountain cities based on the "transit city" has greatsignificance to alleviating the traffic problems and guiding the urban traffic scientificplanning, promoting the sustainable development of mountain city.First, this paper analyzed the characteristics of "transit city", summarized the city’sconstruction standards and development goals, summed up the city’s developmentstrategy; Secondly, analyzed the composition and characteristics of urban traffic and theinfluencing factors of urban transportation structure, summed up the index oftransportation structure of the "transit city"; Again, analyzed the traffic characteristics ofthe mountain city, analyzed public transport development of Hong Kong of the typicalmountain city under the "transit city", summarized the development experience andpaths of "transit city" of mountain city; Then, according to the traffic problems ofmountain city and the characteristics of "transit city" and mountain city, with theminimum energy consumption per capita and travel accessibility best as the goal, toresidents’ demand and road network capacity as constraint condition, established thetransportation structure optimization model of mountain city based on the "transit city";Finally, application analysis by using Chongqing which is a typical mountain city.The case analysis shows that transportation structure characteristics analysis andoptimization model of this paper of mountain city based on the "transit city", not onlyreflected the basic characteristics of the mountain city, at the same time satisfied theindex of transportation structure and sustainable development of the "transit city", fordeveloping and constructing the "transit city" of mountain cities has a certain theoretical and technical guidance.
