Research Of Xiangyang City Spatial Morphology Based On Space Syntax

In recent years,the effects and radiation area of the medium and small city of our country is becoming larger and larger, It occupies an important position in national economy gross, and has celebrated its golden period of development. Chinese city space form fields of research, from1980time evening since the continuous progress, but the range of study, the technical method and content have great limitations and lopsided sex, especially for small and medium-sized city planning and construction, also lack of systematic theory of city planning guide.The urban spatial morphology evolvement and update is a process of exterior spatial e expansion and internal spatial reorganization, but also a process constantly solving the contradiction between social activity, economy, culture, environment and other factors and the urban spatial morphology.By analysing the impact of long-term dominant factors of the urban spatial development, grasping the spatial combination relations of the various elements within the overall level, discussing the basic characteristics and formation, evolution and development rule, deepen the awareness and understanding of urban spatial information, mastering the evolution rule, motivation mechanism and restriction factors of urban spatial morphology, can enhance the scientific and rational urban planning, seek the short-term urban planning and optimization practice. Based on this, this paper selects Xiangyang city spatial morphology evolution as a case, seeking for the evolution rule of urban spatial morphology evolvement through the systems analysis.This paper takes the time and space as the clue, based on the empirical study on the urban spatial development, system analysises the historical evolution of the complex problems, emphasizes the self-evolvement function on the urban spatial morphology formation and evolution, applicates quantitative analysis of mathematical statistics and geographic information system (GIS) on the state and nature of urban spatial development, revealing the power and rule of a series of evolution process from internal structure reconstruction to the periphery region growth, looking for the mode of space planning and update which city system operations optimization and maximization of the value.In this paper, the city space syntax structure of Xiangyang city in thirty years has been established, comparing to the several periods of model data, summarizes the rules and the characteristics of urban spatial evolution overall and partition level, estimates the Xiangyang city spatial morphology evolution during in-depth study of the connotation and characters of the change of characteristic parameters, discusses the connotation of Xiangyang city spatial structure evolution. On this basis, analyses Xiangyang city location attraction factor, the space functional distribution and the city space evolution since thirty years, puts forward the theory of the correlation of the two; estimates all the previous planning effects, sums up the impact of the planning intervention on urban spatial morphology evolution, brings forward the ideal space renewal patterns, optimizes and compares the schemes of urban spatial planning, analyses the effect of dual organization mechanism of urban space development, finally, states the ideal urban space renewal patterns, makes optimization and comparison of urban planning, discusses the countermeasures and suggestions of optimization and maximization of the value that urban spatial system runs.
