Research On The Evolution Of The Spatial Morphology Of Daqing Central City Based On Space Syntax

In recent years,the problem of "deformed" urbanization in China is common due to the excessive pursuit of economic development,like the unrestricted expansion of urban space,the lack of cultural characteristics,the excessively exaggerated urban scale,and so on.These are ultimately manifested as too single urban formsand and the loss of urban characteristics.As the most important oil city at the beginning of China’s economic development and socialist construction,Daqing followed the country’s “production first,then life” construction principle at the beginning of its construction and development,which led to the strong randomness of its urban spatial morphology.Nowadays,with the gradual decline of oil reserves,Daqing’s urban space is seeking a new round of reorganization and transformation.In this process,the urban spatial morphology is undergoing a dramatic evolution.Space syntax as an emerging language for interpreting architecture and urban space,using this theory the foreign has formed a set of complete framework for describing urban spatial morphology.However,because of this theory was introduced into domestic late,only some scholars use this theory to research the urban space,and it is rare to describe the spatial morphology of resource-based cities by space syntax theory.In response to the above problems,this study is based on the theory of space syntax and selects Daqing,which has the typical "resource-based city" spatial characteristics,as the analysis object.It uses quantitative analysis to find out the characteristics of the urban space evolution in different periods and deeply explore the Daqing city spatial morphology evolution regularity,dynamic mechanism and development trend,in order to provide theoretical help for the urban space reorganization of Daqing in the future.This paper firstly determines the content of the research subject and the relevant literature review,and analyzes the relevant foundations such as urban morphology theory,space syntax theory,and the application of space syntax,so as to clarify its guiding significance.After that,the paper combed the evolution of Daqing’s urban spatial morphology in detail,and divided the urban development process into three different stages : scattered,centralized and grouped.On this basis,the paper constructs the urban axis model of five different time nodes in three stages,and carries out syntactic analysis and evaluation on the urban spatial form of Daqing in different periods from the perspective of variables of integration,choice and Intelligibility.Finally,based on the above analysis results,this paper summarizes the law and dynamic mechanism of Daqing’s urban spatial morphology evolution,and puts forward the development trend of Daqing’s urban spatial morphology evolution according to these contents.
