As the great demand of interior design professionals and the rapid development of interior design and related disciplines, in our country.The quality of the graduates under the teaching system is not remarkable.According to the investigation and study of the current professional interior design teaching mode of Chinai find the most fundamental problerm is the professional basic education of most ordinary colleges and universities.So, I choose the professional basic education of interior design as my research point.Through the vertical and horizontal comparison of the interior design teaching in colleges and universities in China and abroad focuses on the issues of the undergraduate teaching in the field of the interior design professional teaching, I choose the Chinese part to do a comprehensive and in-depth analysis of them. Proposes a new suitable teaching model of the interior design of non-key universities. This teaching model through a series of continuous and compact teaching carrier will put the several training abilities that must be developed together in based professional teaching.Based on guaranteeing teaching quality; reducing the teaching time required to develop the quality and striving to improve the efficiency of basic teaching of undergraduate interior design.This article combines with the current spirit of the age and background of the transformation of the interior design related disciplines, teaching theory, systems theory, control theory, part of the principle theory of the prototype theory to make a new interpretation and according to the author’s teaching practice, uses the modern methods of education science to give the(or some) specific methods or ways to enhance the efficience of the basic professional teaching of the interior design in non-key undergraduate colleges and universities of our country.Using this new professional teaching model can effectively help solve four main problems existed currently, non key basic professional interior design teaching in Colleges:1basic course training content overlap, the specialized basic courses and the training content and follow-up courses content overlap, reducing the efficiency of teaching;2professional foundation courses and professional courses the teaching content of convergence is not smooth, professional basis for teaching of interior design point is not strong;3types of basic courses of training the lack of focus on the theme, the basic course teaching act of one’s own free will, make it difficult for the students to form a complete and independent design thinking and initiative study consciousness; lack of training comprehensive cultural quality4major basic teaching, student’s grade is not high.The teaching model of professional foundation in our country will provide the beneficial reference of basic teaching system of key universities construct their interior design related professional, so as to enhance China’s overall quality of teaching non-key colleges interior design discipline and lay a solid foundation.
