Green building integrate with the site, climate, and natural source, has theproperty of energy efficiency, is harmony with the nature. At the same time, thebuilding functions are satisfied efficiently, a harmonious space structure is created forwork, live or entertain. Multi-functional energy system is a gross energy system withthe characteristics of the consistency and coordination with the environmentalconservation. This system is the basic type of a broad sense of a gross energy systemand it embodies the concept of multiple energy input and output system.Multi-functional energy system tends to be the leader and frontier in the field ofrenewable power system in the future. Based on the green building and multiplefunctional energy system development, the thesis puts forward the multi-functionalenergy system of green building, which follows the integration principles of “increaseincome and reduce expenditure, scientific energy utility”.According to this, the focuses should be onto the performance of the energy partinside and outside of the building system, the energy grade and the influence modeand related regulation of the energy usage of sub-energy systems. Based on themainline, the comprehensive cascade utilization of energy, and also with theconsideration of every operating mode of a building energy consumer system. Thistheory is the development of the method of architectural energy and space energyconservation. It could reduce the energy consumption of a building itself by means ofintegrated design between building and energy, and it could satisfy the most part ofthe building energy request only by envelop and space itself with cooperation ofrenewable energy system as well. Also supported by the multi-source heat pump andenergy storage system, it would get a further optimization. As a result, a multiplefunctional energy system of a green building could maximize the usable buildingenergy and the built environment and minimize the fossil energy consumptionfundamentally.A special building component that combined nocturnal cooling, solar heating andpower poly-generation is proposed in this thesis, which is composed of PV moduleand the radiant panel and is named as Photovoltaic radiant panel (PV/R). Its powerefficiency is higher than the regular PV panel by3~16%, heating efficiency is45%and cooling power is30~80W/m2. As a part of the building envelop, it is the active insulation of building, to reduce the heat or cool demand, increase the powergeneration and supply the lower temperature heat/cool source. These characteristics ofmulti-function could adjust or optimize the energy system construction according tothe building performance itself. In addition, PV/R panel could be cooperated with lowtemperature difference terminals, multi-source heat pump, and energy storage and soon in order to establish a custom building energy system. This also makes possible thesmart control system on the side of the consumers.Several practice cases are analyzed and theorized to illustrate the employment ofthe multi-functional energy system. Such as the Sunflower house of2010SolarDecathlon of Europe, the zero energy complex building of Huaxin Science andTechnology Co., Ltd. Based on the low cost, the conclusion is drawn that the buildingenergy consumption are sharply reduced and the heating, cooling, domestic hot water, even the electricity can be resolved by the multi-functional energy system.Based on the bionic view, the multi-functional energy system was proposed. Thisthesis aims to provide a reference and guide for the integration design and systemcontrol of a multiple energy system for a green building. Also this paper offers a newmethod of building integrated renewable energy system and its industrialization mode.
