In order to meet the needs of the development of industrialization and urbanization, more and more buildings have sprung up, buildings in the whole life cycle of energy consumption, and building energy consumption in total energy consumption accounts for the proportion gradually increased, the energy and resources brought heavy burden. Green building with the purpose of "green" word, the optimal design scheme from section, energy conservation, water conservation and other aspects reduce energy use and consumption of resources, protection of the natural environment, so green building become the orientation of the development of the construction industry. 2006 "Green Building Evaluation Criteria" awarded for the first time in the implementation process, experience combined with China's construction in the evaluation found problems and foreign evaluation system, 2006. In the year of 2014, The new standards issued implementation indicates that green building in the development of the construction industry is on the rise.We must develop green buildings to reduce the energy consumption of the building, to strengthen the use of renewable resources and non-conventional water sources and other measures to reduce carbon dioxide emissions, reduce the degree of water pollution, improve the use of clean energy, protect our survival homes, and the nature harmonious coexistence.In this paper, describes green building development and the present situation at home and abroad, the introduction of green building assessment system and compared with foreign, mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan's evaluation system.This paper to in the new standard of energy-saving and water-saving aspects described in green building, and engineering examples illustrate in building use and estimated its economic benefits, environmental benefits and social benefits. The energy-saving emission reduction technology in two star building design mainly has two aspects: one is energy-saving and renewable resources, the use of solar energy and project it will be solar photovoltaic system installed on the roof, and municipal power grid for comprehensive laboratory building power supply. Two is the non-traditional water resources in water conservation- the use of rainwater, the collection and treatment of rainwater for irrigation, garage irrigation, etc.. At the end of this paper, the benefits of solar energy and rainwater utilization are analyzed in many aspects, and the energy-saving and emission reduction is feasible and necessary in the green building.
