Systematical Research On Innovation Practice Of Chinese Newish Architects

During the thirty years of reform and opening up, Chinese rapid economicdevelopment and her flourished urbanization process have fostered one generation ofarchitecturalpeople, which canbe called a Chinese newish architects group. Basingon the local, exploring the world, thinking positive and innovating bravely, theyobtain great achievements, and meanwhile, bring disapproval all around. The defectsdo not obscure the virtues. This Chinese newish architect group has depicted aninspired passage unique to its own with thick and heavy colors in the long river ofarchitectural history. Based on the transformation of ecological civilization, focusingon the education background and creation consciousness, and handling architecturalidentity and principle, this dissertation feels the pulse of newish architects’achievement, dialectically analyzes defects and shortcomings, and fixes position ofinnovation practice of this newish architects group from the perspectives ofenvironment, culture and technology. With a prospective and global view, thedissertation positively forecasts the future direction of the development of Chinesearchitecture and the implementation strategy, wishing being a reference to the currentChinese architectural design in this transition period.Preface part (chapter two) is a background analysis. This part systematicallyteases social and educational background of Chinese newish generation architectssummarizes their group characteristics. On this basis, the dissertation analyses theircreation consciousness different from predecessor from environment, culture andtechnology, when facing up to current social problems. That can be summarized aspursuit harmonious coexistence in environment, dialogue and integration in culture,and multi-level construction in technology.Sub-pandect parts (chapter three, four, five) are review of classifications, whichsummarize, comb and describe the creation practice of newish generation architectsfrom the perspectives of environment, culture and technology. In thesis construction,According to the specific topic of each chapter, a comprehensive analysis was madeon the creating status of the contemporary context in China and on this basis, thecreative strategy and attitude adopted by the architects of the new generation wassystematically analyzed. By the review of classifications of harmonious coexistence inenvironment, dialogue and integration in culture, and multi-level construction intechnology, these chapters provide substantial basis for further research. Conclusion section (chapter six and seven) is assessment and expectation. Firstly,the dissertation summarizes the newish generation architects’ achievements andshortcomings. Secondly, grasping life-throb of ages and future trends, leading thefuture development direction of Chinese building to form follows ecology. And onthis basis, points out fully-grown progress which the newish generation architectneeds to make in environment, culture and technology: integrating into environment,giving consideration to site harmony and building energy conservation; based onculture, pouring into humanistic concern from the details; feeling the pulse of ages,seeking comprehensive integration depending on new technology. Finally, thedissertation provides corresponding strategy and proposes on perfecting policies andregulations, reforming architectural education and construction theory system.
