Research And Practice On Cultural Innovation Product Design Based On Dong Minority Bird Culture

Ancient Chinese ancestors believe that birds are the embodiment and the carrier of the sun,as well as a bright and warm messenger.With the worship of nature,people regard the birds as the spirit of sustenance and worship objects,which are associated with their lives and closely related to the natural life.Therefore,birds can be said as the representative totem of many ethnic areas of different cultural characteristics.Among them,the culture of birds in Dong minority particularly has a long history.There are crane,golden chicken,dragon and phoenix in the Dong primitive totem worship.These totem marks are still common in the Dong Drum Towers,Wind and Rain Bridge and other public buildings,as the ethnic identity and village soul of Dong villages;which still often seen in the birds pattern of Dong brocade,as the mark and heritage of national culture.In modern society,how to effectively save and develop the Dong bird culture,is a very meaningful and challenging research topic.At present,the preservation methods and development forms of the Dong culture are as follows:the Drum Tower,the wind and rain bridge and other public buildings;the Dong brocade and other handicrafts;the Dong bird patterns shown in the exhibition hall;the Dong brocade products made by local craftsmen,which mainly used as gifts and souvenirs and so on.Many research scholars have played a positive role in the research and propaganda of Dong bird culture,but these are only in the study of the history,preservation and development,pattern characteristics,but they did not make innovative solutions on how to protect and develop Dong bird culture in the modern situation.The innovation of this paper is to analyze the historical background,manifestation,cultural elements and design elements of the Dong culture from the perspective of design.At the same time,this paper summarizes the current situation of Hunan tourism commodity market and Dong bird culture products.However,this paper rethinks the inheritance and innovation of the Dong bird culture from the perspective of the application and innovation of the regional intangible cultural heritage in the local design.Based on the research on the tourism market of Hunan,combining with the 3D printing technology,the electromagnetic levitation technology,the Bluetooth wireless connection technology and other new technologies to the design practice,to explore the new integration methods and feasibility of new technologies and traditional culture.Additionally,this paper conducts design analysis and derivation process from three aspects:functional analysis,innovative technology analysis and feasibility analysis.Internet and new media technology under the protection and dissemination of regional culture were discussed.Based on the thinking above,a set of magnetic levitation Bluetooth music lamp product was born,to let the Dong bird culture into the modern life,which is also a step of preliminary exploration about the modern cultural innovation product design based on the Dong culture.
