| Sunset-departure and sunrise-arrival train (SST) is popular with most railway passengers. The distance of SST on conventional railway (CR) is not more than1500km because of low operation speed. The number of passenger flow OD composed by municipalities, provincial capitals, vice provincial cities and important cities which are connected by high-speed railway (HSR) is861in2020, the number which distance more than1500km is528. The operation demand of SST on HSR is generated from passenger travel and HSR network layout. So, the study topics of this paper have important practical and theoretical significance.The organization method of SST on CR cannot be used directly by SST on HSR, because of the difference such as the shape, starting moment and duration of integrated maintenance time (IMT). The contradiction between SST on HSR and IMT must be solved if SST on HSR will be operated. Different operation modes will be come from different solutions, different influence relations will be come from different operation modes, such as different travel time, arrival and departure momnet of passing cities which can influence the operation effect, so different effects will be come from different operation modes.Regarding operation effect as optimization goal, this paper optimizes the operation modes of SST on HSR. The main research content includes the following several aspects:(1) Demand analysis on SST on HSRThe passengers whoes travel distance between1500km and2500km and so far have the demand of SST on HSR, D-SST on HSR, G-SST on HSR, D-train of daytime on HSR, G-train of daytime on HSR and aviation aircraft can be choosed by the these passengers. The factors for example, direct costs, time loss, fatigue recovery and so on, are analyzed aim to passenger choice behavior of SST on HSR. The ticket of whole travel including the ticket from starting place to railway station or airport and from railway station or airport to destination place, and the accommodation costs are taken into account in direct costs. The model of fatigue recovery time is built. The time loss and fatigue recovery time are convented to direct cost using effective time value and low time value. Comprehensive comparison shows the passenger whose travel time value is under50RMB/h will choose the SST on HSR. Operation distance of SST on HSR should not be more than2400km. (2) Design of operation modes and study on optimization connotation of SST on HSRThe organization modes, for example,(1) operating as normal because IMT does not occur on night time,(2) operating in single track,(3) stopping at a HSR station before IMT and go on operating after IMT and arriving at the destination on HSR (SAHS),(4) transfer from HSR to CR before IMT and arriving at the destination on CR (HCAD),(5)transfer from HSR to CR before IMT and from CR to HSR after IMT (HCCH) and arriving at the destination on HSR,(6) passengers transfer from motor train unit to ordinary train before IMT and arriving at the destination on ordinary train, are designed according to the solution motheds of contradiction between SST on HSR and IMT. The qualitative analysis is done to influence relations between operation process of SST on HSR and the starting moment of IMT for each operatiom mode. According to the operatin safety, the current IMT should not be cancel or set on daytime, and should not be changed to single track maintenance. Simultaneous integrated maintain time (SIMT) and asynchronous integrated maintain time (AIMT) can be used. Railway passengers are not willing to transfer from motor train unit to ordinary train. So the SAHS, HCAD and HCCH can be selected when SST on HSR is operated in our country.Optimization objective and optimization content are analyzed. The satisfactory degree of departure and arrival moment, the attraction of ticket price, the influence on the section passing capacity, the difficulty of transportation organization adjustment are regarded as the optimizaiton objective of operation modes, through analysis on the factors influencing passengers’choice behavior and railway operation organization. The quantity relations between optimizaiton objective and influencing factors are given according to the features of SAHS, HCAD and HCCH. Optimization content includes operation modes for single SST on HSR considering key elements and ignoring key elements, operation modes for many SSTs on HSR.(3) Study on the relation model between travel distance and time of SST on HSRThe relation model between travel distance and time of SST on HSR is proposed when the key elements, for example, arrive and departure moment in the pasing city, key city, starting moment of IMT are ignored. The relation model is solved after discussing the value of parameters of SAHS, HCAD and HCCH respectively. The operation distance of SST on HSR is divided into four categories and the alternatives operation modes are given after qualitative analysis combining with the optimization objective.(4) Study on the optimization model of operation modes for single SST on HSRThe optimization model of operation modes for single SST on HSR is built, after mechanism analysis on the influence relations among arrive and departure moment in the pasing city, key city, starting moment of IMT. The various constraints such as Variable logical, operation process of SST on HSR, the relation between the operation process and starting moment of IMT, the relation between key cities and starting moment of IMT are taken into account, and the optimizaiton objective is regard as the objective funtion in this model. Example application shows the operation mode has a good applicability and accuracy.(5) Study on solution methods and comprehensive optimization model of operation modes for mult-SSTs on HSRBased on the optimization model of operation modes for single SST on HSR, comprehensive optimization model of operation modes for multi-SSTs on HSR are proposed. The tracking interval, the number of arrival-departure tracks, and the relations between IMT and up and down SST on HSR are taken into account in the comprehensive optimization model. Solving methods are discussed in this paper because the model has the characteristics of scale and and difficult to solve quickly.the measures, for exmaple, determining the operation mode, determining multi-SSTs departure-arrive order, decreasing the number of key cities are used to reduce the model scale. Special analysis is done about which city may become the key city. Dataes of HSR from Beijing to Guangzhou and HSRrelated network is applied. The result shows the mode has a good applicability and accuracy. |
