Development Theory And Model Of Low-carbon Agriculture

To counter a series of environmental problems caused by global warming,resources shortage and environment deterioration,low-carbon issue has become a hot point of most scholars and government.However,the researches about low-carbon economy at present mainly focus on industry and urbanization,the theory and its practice research of low-carbon agriculture still remains rather weak.Therefore,strengthen the related theory and practice research of low-carbon agriculture,specially the research of low-carbon agriculture connotation,principle,development patterns,technique system and synthetic assessment target system are very important.It will help the government make accurate planning and forecasting of low-carbon agriculture,in order to distinguish the key points and formulate relative policies and regulations.It has extremely important theoretical value and realistic significance to carry out the theoretical and empirical study on low-carbon agriculture.On the basis of intensively reading relative references in the world and of our pratice experiences in this area,by useing the basic principles of relevant subjects to synthetically analyze and research practical problems with the direction of low-carbon economy and ecological agriculture theories.The author systematically expounded theoretical foundation of low-carbon agriculture such as its background,connotation and essential qualities,and constructed a relative complete basic theory frame for low-carbon agriculture.Combined with the basic agriculture condition of Fujian Province,the relative advantage and supervision factors were discussed,and low-carbon agriculture development models were analysed,and the technical support system was discussed.As a result,the comprehensive efficiency evaluation system of low-carbon agriculture in Fujian Province was also constructed.This paper made some simple explorations on low-carbon agriculture,has given a preliminary answer to major theoretical and practical questions such as what low-carbon agriculture is and how it is built.The expectation through this paper research,to further promotes low-carbon agriculture development in Fujian Province,offers the theory and scientific background for developing,in order to protect and improve environment.The results are as follows:(1)The development foundation and condition of low-carbon agriculture in Fujian Province was discussed based on environment general situation,natural resources and the socioeconomic condition of Fujian Province.The low-carbon agriculture present development situation in Fujian Province was diagnosed,the SWOT analysis and agriculture geographical distribution of low-carbon agriculture in Fujian Province were also analysed.(2)The idea and strategy of low-carbon agriculture in Fujian Province for the future were proposed.We discussed the inevitability of develop low-carbon agriculture and proposed the idea and strategy,that was to market demand-oriented,predicate development upon the protection of natural resources,based on modern science and industrial technology,centered with economic benefits and to improve supervisor mode as the means.We also discussed corresponding measures for developing low-carbon,proposed that take steps of reform from following several aspects:make blueprint of low-carbon agriculture development,enhance construction of integrated technical system,set some example bases,improve the system of policies and regulations,enlarge the propagation and education,improve the employees’ quality,strengthening international connections and promot agriculture cooperation between Fujian-Taiwan.(3)The development patterns of low-carbon agriculture was studied.We analysed the existence conditions,basic thoughts,design philosophy and design procedures of low-carbon agriculture development patterns.Particular attention is focused on several development patterns such as courtyard low-carbon agriculture model,pasture-fruiter-edible mushroom-methane model,livestock feces fish pond model,pollutant alternative model,resource conservation model,base model,clean energy model , planting and breeding waste reuse model , planting combined with raising stereo-model,low-carbon pond model and leisure and ecological tourism model.(4)The technology system of low-carbon agriculture was studied.We structured the technology system of low-carbon agriculture,analysed the applications of low-carbon agriculture technology such as straw returns technology,waste disposal technology,animal waste resource utilization technology,rural biogas technology,scientific fertilization technology,water saving technology,zero-tillage technology,Integrated pest and disease management technology,planting combined with raising stereo-ecological technology and recycling agriculture technology,and so on.(5)The comprehensive efficiency evaluation system of low-carbon agriculture in Fujian Province was also constructed.How to construct comprehensive efficiency evaluation system of low-carbon agriculture was discussed from the guiding ideology,building principle and construction methods.The system was successfully applied to productive practice and gained satisfactory result.
