Reasonable fertilization is an effective means to harvest higher and better qualityvegetable. Currently, the phenomenon, for example, excessive fertilizer and singleform of nitrogen fertilizer exists in the process of agricultural production, which notonly wastes the fertilizer resources, nitrate accumulation and vegetables nutritionalquality drop, also causes environmental pollution. In this study, the cabbage(Brassicaoleracea L.var.capitata L.)for outdoor cultivation was employed to probe the effect ofthe reducing fertilizer (20%~40%) with bio-fertilizer, nitrogen forms and proportionon cabbage growth, Nutrient absorption, yield and quality,so as to provide theoreticalbasis for scientific fertilization of the cabbage. The main study results are as follows:1.Reducing fertilizer make the stem diameter of cabbage smaller at the early andlate growth stage, and had no significant effect on leaf number and long projectiveplanes of the cabbage. Compared with the control, leaf stomatal conductance and netphotosynthetic rate were no significant difference. Reducing fertilizer with combinedapplication of bio-fertilizer raised increased the plant height of seedlings, stemdiameter, stomatal conductance and photosynthetic rate increased.2.Reducing fertilizer decreased nitrogen content of cabbage head, leaves androots, caused the distribution ratio of nitrogen increasing in cabbage head andreducing in the leaves and roots, and reduced phosphorus and potassium content ofthe total effect of nutrient in soil. Reducing fertilizer with combined application ofbio-fertilizer reduced the nitrogen content of cabbage head and the content ofpotassium of roots and raised total potassium and available potassium content in soil.3.Reducing fertilizer promoted the growth of the cabbage head, improve theeconomic output, and made the nitrate content reduce in the cabbage head, increaseVCcontent, and decrease soluble solid content. Reducing fertilizer with combinedapplication of bio-fertilizer can further decrease the nitrate and soluble solids content. 4.The application of NO-3-N: NH+4-N in3:7was conducive to the improvementof the stem diameter of cabbage. The applying fertilizer of NH+4-N can increase theleaves. The combined application of NH+4-N and NO-3-N was conducive to improvethe content of nitrogen and phosphorus in leaves, head and roots of cabbage, butNO-3-N has the opposite effect. The applying fertilizer of NO-3-N promoted thepotassium absorption of leaves, head and roots. Nitrogen can increase NO-3-N andNH+4-N content of NO-3-N and NH+4-N in soil.5. The combined application of NH+4-N and NO-3-N can improve netphotosynthetic rate of leaves. Compared with single nitrogen fertilizer forms, thecombined application of NH+-4-N and NO3-N can obviously improve the yield ofcabbage, the yield increasing rate of combined application of NH+4-N and NO-3-N issignificantly greater than the single nitrogenous fertilizer, the content of NO-3-Nwithin the scope of30%~50%had the best results of increasing yield.6. Single nitrogen fertilizer forms of NO-3-N increase nitrate content, and thecombined application of NH+4-N and NO-3-N can reduce nitrate content of the cabbage, increased the content of Vc, soluble sugar content in cabbage head and improved thequality of the cabbage.
