Study On The Development Of Contemporary China-Dprk Trade

This paper is a study of the development of contemporary China-DPRK trade. Basis on a brief review of the history of Sino-Korea trade, it discusses the contemporary history of the development of ultra-trade, the main characteristics, problems and trends systematically, at the same time, makes a discussion about the countermeasure of Sino-Korea trade.The paper falls into three sections, the introduction, body and conclusion. Introduction focuses primarily on seniority purpose and meaning, the current situations of the selected topic, the research methods of related definition, concepts and lack of innovation.Body divided into four chapters. The ChapterⅡ to ChapterⅤ.Chapter Ⅱ Historical development of China-DPRK Trade review (1949). Fistly, this chapter looks back and summarizes the Sino-Korean trade under the tributary system. Which refers chiefly to tributary trade, and its essence is the harter trade which or the commercial mainstay of country. There is a tributary trade co-exists with non-governmental trade formed by inhabitants of a border area spontaneously.Second, making a retrospective analysis of the1895"Treaty of Shimonoseki", after the collapse of Sino-Korean tributary system, the tortuous process of development and characteristics of the different stages of Sino-Korean trade conditioned by the "Nanjing Treaty","Treaty of Shimonoseki","Korea-Japan Annexation Treaty".ChapterⅢ Sino-Korean barter trade on the liberal side.(1950-1991). Sino-Korean trade during this period demonstrated a specificity of trade between the socialist camp, and by signing long-term agreement to carry out barter trade. This chapter begins by combing the Chinese, North Korean foreign trade policy development and changes over the years. Second, on the base of analysis of Korean trade size, product structure, trade patterns, summarizes the main features of the development of Sino-Korean trade in this period. Finally, describes the border recovery of regional trade and development.Chapter IV North Korea’s cash trade between sovereign nations.(from1992up to now). In1992, China and the DPRK signed the new "trade agreement" marks the real bilateral trade between sovereign nations into the international trading period.This chapter begins with an overview of China’s foreign trade during this period and to detect changes in the development of North Korea "reform and opening" process. Secondly, by the amount of overall growth of China-DPRK trade, commodity structure is becoming more rational, more flexible trade method and other current situation analysis, summarizes the Sino-Korean trade"Economic assistance to the mutually beneficial cooperation","North Korea’s foreign trade dependence on China and the complementary enhancements "and so on. Finally, focuses on the analysis of the China-DPRK border trade, the main features and important role.Chapter V Problems in Sino-Korean trade and development strategies. This chapter first analyzes the development of Sino-Korean trade, the main problems. Secondly, starting from the interpretation of the two countries, policy analysis of the development of China-DPRK trade advantage. Finally, with reality, the development of Sino-Korean trade, strategic positioning, location choice and strategic measures were discussed.Concluding section discusses the identification of the development of China-DPRK trade and the importance of strengthen enhancing on high-level interaction for the development of Sino-Korean trade, demonstrates that the further development of the strategic choice of China-DPRK trade.
