Research On The Hakka’s Traditional Folk Arts In Ting State

This thesis takes the subject at the research of Hakka’s folk art. Region from part of original Ting State, the thesis does comprehensive investigation on appearance and development of traditional art forms in the way of comparative study. Over the on-the-spot investigation, the prove of historical materials, documents and localchronicles, analyzing the source, cultural spirit, main category, decoration and patten of Hakka’s folk arts, the thesis researches on the living condition and artistic features of the inheritance people and discusses its aesthetic characteristics. The Hakka’s folk arts was formed between Tang and Song dynasty, developed between Yuan and Ming dynasty, booming in Qing dynasty. Changting is a famous national historical city and is the center city&political center of Hakka. In this area, it has breed many kinds of art forms with unique art styles. It great influenced other Hakka areas and later Taiwan Hakka. Including the Hakka from main land of China and Taiwan, the author tries to clear the continuity between each other. To be proven, the author consider the whole picture in a macro perspective, while analyze the details in the certain case. Over the on-the-spot investigation, there are great amount of heritages in the grassroots society. A lot of people still doing the same business. It is definitely meaningful to the protection of intangible cultural heritage to do the deep research on Hakka’s folk arts, to explore the new caution of protection and to accelerate the regional cultural treasure to go to the world arena.
