Research On Ancient Chinese Characters In Kangxi Dictionary

In this paper, ancient characters in The Kangxi Dictionary are used as the research object. First of all, through the ancient font source combing, as well as its relationship with Kangxi dictionary prefix relations analysis,ancient characters of Kangxi Dictionary will be divided into two categories:ancient characters and folk characters.At the same time, summed up the characteristics which were presented in ancient Chinese characters. Secondly, research the three classification. In the study of the ancient Chinese Liding, it focuses on the Liding style and erroneous transformation problem in the the prominent phenomenon of the process. In the folk character study, combined with examples, there is a brief analysis of characters in configuration characteristics. In addition, we have studied the phonetic loan characters, which is the most remarkable chacteristics of the Kangxi Dictionary, it mainly analyzes the phonetic loan characters and borrowed word in shape, sound, meaning and relation, with discussing the reason of the existence of a large number of phonetic loan characters. Finally, through the comparison of ancient Chinese variant characters of Kangxi dictionary and Xiaozhuan of Shuowen in structure, structural components, component number and position changes, we can look into the ancient Chinese character’s breeding in general.
