In1937, Jin Kemu published an article A Study on the New Way of Chinese Poetry, in which he proposed the concept The New Wise Poetry for the first time. In this article, considering the current state of the development of Chinese poetry, he believes that the development of Chinese poetry can depend on three factors, which are wisdom, emotion and feeling. The so-called Wisdom in this article means The Wise Poetry, which is actually what we-called Intellectual Poetry in this dissertation. The concept Intellectuality is from the West. In the current academic, the article British and American Emerging Poetry written by a Japanese named A Bu Zhi Er is regarded as the starting point for the introduction and spread of the Intellectual Theory. And this article was translated by Gao Ming, which was published on the volume2issue4of The Modern in February1,1933. Actually, intellectuality is the summary of such kind of Western poetics pursue by Chinese scholars. The construction of the discourse of Chinese modern intellectual poetics is benefited both by the East and West poetic tradition, in which the West Intellectual Poetic Theory is more important particularly. But the modern Chinese intellectual poetics is not a part of the discourse system of the western modern poetics or the Chinese traditional poetics, because it has its own issues that are different from the western and Chinese traditional poetics. The purpose of poetics is to explore the creating laws of the poem’s beauty, so the purpose of the intellectual poetics is to explore the creating laws of the intellectual poetry’s beauty. Based on the creativity theory and taking the creative psychology as the starting point, the emphasis of this research is to figure out the creating laws of the Chinese modern intellectual poetry and the ultimate goal of it is to build the system of poetic body of intellectual poetry.According to all of these considerations, the main part of this dissertation will take all the intellectual poems, which are written in the year between1918and1949, as the study object and explain the overall architecture and performance of Chinese modern intellectual poetics in seven chapters and three aspects, which is the resources, the history and the ontology of the intellectual poetics. The content of the seven chapters are as follows:In order to expound the effect from the western and Chinese traditional poetics in the construction of Chinese modern intellectual poetics and the choice principles in the inheritance and learning, the introduction and the chapter one analyses these intellectual poetic theories and poetic theories containing intellectual factors of the East and West poetic traditions, which have an important effect on the Chinese modern intellectual poetics. The chapter two, three and four mainly discuss and sort out the historical process that is the construction, development and deepening of the Chinese modern intellectual poetics in1920s,1930s and1940s. In the description of the History and Change, the paper summarizes the evolution laws and the experience and lessons provided by the construction of Chinese modern intellectual poetics at all stages. The chapter five six and seven are the ontology parts of Chinese modern intellectual poetics. Chapter five, from the perspective of Mind-substance Relation Theory, divides the contemporary Chinese rational poems and rational pursuit into two types, that is, the rational pursuit of from-substance-to-mind substantialization and that of from-mind-to-substance idealization. Combining with specific texts, the chapter attempts to elaborate on how the different construction of mind-substance relation affects the management of artistic spirits. In order to generalizing the internal structure system related to the creating laws of intellectual poetry, the chapter six Mind Comprehensive Theory is a thematic study on the creation of realm and the generating process of intuition of the Mind Comprehensive in the intellectual poetry and it also reveals that there are two ways for the Mind Comprehensive: one is by Emotional Experience, the other is by Mental Experience. The chapter seven Art Exploring Theory mainly discusses the formal skills of Chinese modern intellectual poetry in three aspects, which are structure measures, language strategies and rhythm-style arrangements. The purpose of chapter five is to discuss the internal composition laws of the intellectual poetic body. While corresponding to these internal studies, the Art Exploring Theory explains the external performance characteristics of Chinese intellectual poetry,...
