The question in this paper originates from the current communication practices of Miao nationality music in Guizhou province. In my opinion, this issue arises from its closure in inheritance practices and the advances in technology of mass communication. Based on my field works, this research paper covers comprehensively present situation of Miao nationality music communication practices and exposes profoundly its modernity characteristic through the method of the multi-disciplinary generalized analyses, at the same time, promulgates its different communication values related to Miao nationality music and further proposes its cultural strategy and its motion strategy under the globalization background with in-depth interviews and questionnaire surveys to gathering viewpoints of various communities. The methodology in this study has taken into viewpoints under the subjects of cultural globalization theory, post-modernism culture, cultural transmission, cultural ecology, anthropology, pedagogy and Miao nationality culture study.In details, this paper consists following chapters:The first chapter has briefly combed the cultural spatial structure and the research course of Miao nationality music in Guizhou, further highlighting the differences between the concepts of musical inheritance and musical communication. Several questions on musical communication study on Miao nationality are brought up under the context of globalization.The second chapter is the main research paper on the natural communication process of Miao’s folk music in Guizhou, including its diachronic study and functional study; the behavioral study and individual case investigation on "inter-generation communication" and "inter-nationality communication" of Miao nationality music; as well as the difficulties faced on the folk music’natural communication process.The third chapter is on the research work carried out on the modern communication medium of Miao nationality music in Guizhou under the globalization background, including the compose communication of Miao nationality music in Guizhou and its works analysis; the perform communication of Miao nationality music in Guizhou and its case analysis; the recommendation of the Miao people’s primitive music culture in Guizhou as well as the value and modernity crux of the modern medium communication of Miao nationality music in Guizhou.The fourth chapter is research report covers school curriculum teaching communication of Miao nationality music in Guizhou under the globalization background, including the school teaching communication of Miao people’s music in Guizhou in20th century next half; the school teaching communication of Miao people’s music in Guizhou in21st century; the modernity paradox of the school teaching communication of Miao people’s music in Guizhou.The fifth chapter has combed and inquired into the local governmental practices and the public opinion on the communication of Miao nationality music in Guizhou by the method of the literature research, the questionnaire surveys and individual interviews, including the local governmental practices and the news guidance on musical communication; the questionnaire surveys focused on the public opinion formed by varsity student community; the in-depth interviews are conducted among scholars.The sixth chapter is the analysis of the cultural strategy and the motion strategy of the communication of Miao nationality music in Guizhou under the globalization background. The cultural strategy includes the cultural awareness of the value judgment, the cultural global view of the research strategy, the cultural subject view of the source strategy, the multi-layered graduation view of the channel strategy, the cultural relative view of the explanation strategy, the intersubjectivity view of exchange strategy and the cultural ecology view of the industrial strategy.And the motion strategy has mainly studied following five aspects:1) maintaining the culture ecology of Miao nationality music in Guizhou by the production practice which gathers the goal and gathers the rule;2) changing "the element type" compose and perform communication of Miao nationality music in Guizhou to "the culture type" compose and perform communication;3) returning the folk subject act, and rebuilding the recommendation of Miao nationality primitive music in Guizhou;4) rebuilding the current curriculum of Miao nationality music in Guizhou by "the communicative rationality" and5) rebuilding the preservation program of Miao nationality music in Guizhou by "the main body choice" strategy.
