As the place of film screening and dissemination, the cinema, with its rich and diverse forms of space determines the evolution of film format. Cinema close association with China Film provides a unique perspective for our in-depth observation and understanding of the course of the development of Chinese film. In view of this,I chose a hundred Chinese cinema history as a research project, to the adoption of the relevant historical performance of the comb, study and research, which for centuries Chinese film has a more three-dimensional macro-grasp.In the usual understanding of the cinema is a film screening and dissemination of a particular space. It has a relatively fixed form and picture projection mechanism. However, from a broader cultural context and interdisciplinary background to re-examine we will find, as the political, economic, and cultural forces at work under the " social space", the cinema is actually a more abundant connotation——from the political point of view, the cinema is an important carrier of the nation will and spread positions; from the economic point of view, the cinema is important platform for capital flows and operates; from the cultural point of view, the cinema is the place that the audience viewing activities, feelings, fun, state of mind can be fully demonstrated. The history of cinema, not only with he colorful history of Chinese film is related to, but also go hand in hand with the process of modernization of Chinese society. Cinema to the highlight the modern medn, aware features at the same time, also known as an important carrier of the political, economic, and cultural development, place an irreplaceable role in public life and community culture in China.On the basis of comprehensive inspection and micro-discrimination, the centuries of development of Chinese cinema was divided into five periods. Respectively, for the initial period of development1896-1930), towards the independence period of development1930-1949), the period of development in the national mobilization system(1949-1976), the transition period(1976-1992) and the period of development in a globalizing(1992-). From the political, economic and cultural level, intended to make a more comprehensive and systematic study on each historical period of Chinese cinema. Of course, simply on the characteristics of the various historical periods of cinema development summary was not the essence of this research project. In the centuries of the Chinese cinema, the state power was always on the Rights of the cinema to the supervision and management.
