The Study Of Chinese Cinema Viewing Culture From The Perspective Of Lefebvre's Space Theory

At the end of the 20 th century,cultural studies witnessed a remarkable "spatial turn",which was caused by the production of space published in 1974 by Henri Lefebvre,a French neo-Marxist philosopher.Lefebvre objected to the traditional social theory that space was simply regarded as a static container.He believed that space was not only produced in the historical development,but also re-structured with the historical evolution,and divided space into three types: material space,spiritual space and social space.Based on Lefebvre's space theory,the article takes cinema as the research object,researches and explores the physical space,imagination space,and social space of the cinema,and focuses on the spatial practice,representation,and reproduction of cinema from the perspective of cultural studies.Through the construction of the theater space,the behavioral motive and characteristics of the movie-watching culture are discovered,and a cultural picture with the cinema space as the main line is presented,which effectively enriches the dimension and thickness of film culture research.Based on Lefebvre's theory of material space and space practice,this paper analyzes the viewing environment jointly constituted by various elements in the material space of the cinema,including the dark room effect of the cinema,the interaction between the screen and light and shadow,and the carnival effect of the viewing group,so as to complete the construction of the cinema's projection environment and projection equipment.Cinema space not only refers to the arrangement and combination of devices in the physical space,but also a kind of mental machine internalized in the viewer.It is realized through the participation of spiritual devices such as identity,projection,mirror image,dream-making,immersion and group unity.The construction of material space cultivates the moviegoer's unique moviegoer experience and moviegoer behavior.The changes of moviegoer in different historical periods contribute to the formation of different cultural and social manifestations of cinema space.As an important medium for the interaction between space,culture and moviegoers,the evolution process of cinema is closely related to the social form.In the transformation of viewing space,we find the existence of visual culture,mass culture and consumer culture.Cinema has become a multi-dimensional space to record cultural changes,and the development of cinemaspace will inevitably generate a unique movie-watching culture.Now,the movie has become indispensable in People's Daily life,a cultural practice of theatre as a special mass culture consumer goods has been formed,including viewing behavior happened in cinema material space,imaginary space,under the interaction of the social space contains the unique cultural logic,found and combing the cultural logic of contemporary cinema construction in our country,for today the development of film industry still has important research value and practical significance.
