Research On Neoteric Industrial Development Status And Design Of Wuhan

Taken Chinese modern history as the background, starting with the history of neoteric industrial development in Wuhan, this paper explores the course of industrial development in Wuhan, the culture of industry, the emergence and evolution of industrial design phenomenon, the relation between industry and design, and the function of society, science and economy onto the design. This paper also seeks the skeleton of neoteric industrial development in Wuhan in order to restore the historical authenticity of neoteric industrial design in Wuhan and even in China.Building on the basic of accurate grasp on the modern history of China and clear cognition to the history of neoteric industrial development in Wuhan, this research will focus on five things:1. The history of neoteric industrial development in Wuhan, including the process of traditional handicraft transforming into engineering industry, the meaning of "Chinese system is basic, western one is applied", etc.2. According to a large number of historical materials, to set out to analyze the meaning of "Chinese system is basic, western one is applied" for the sake of making the reason and clue of neoteric industrial design to be more unambiguous. Besides, in consideration of polyphyletic factors, this paper will rank on the importance of these factors and investigate thoroughly how these factors to be utilized. Consequently, this research regresses the essence of design to induce the indigenous industrial law and aesthetic experience and to fill in gaps in Chinese industrial design history on one hand, and on the other hand, it can be taken as the basic research in Chinese industrial design history system to excavate the characteristic of Chinese industrial design and cultural deposits, and to seek design philosophy during the neoteric industrial development progress in order to investigate the inheriting value and actual meaning of industrial design.
