Cheng Zhengkui, who lived between the late Ming and early Qing dynasties, wasa men of literature and scholar-bureaucrat. He is a assistant minister of Industryministry, During the whole period of political career, early years he focus on politics,in later years throw himself into the artistic creation actively and painting is very rich,creation include Catalogues figure of landscape volume of nearly five hundred figureseries. During his lifetime keep close contact with some connoisseur and artistinclude Dong Qichang、Zha Shibiao、Shi Xi、 Zhou Lianggong、Cheng Sui、GongXian and Kun Can. The painting in the Ming and qing dynasties on the evaluation ofCheng Zhengkui contain the first painting in Great Kingdom、three rival powers in artcircle、unparalleled etc, pay high attention to his paintings and artistic ideas. Inmodern academic the research of many painters who keep close contact with ChengZhengkui is very deep and had significant research results. Compared with thesepeople, research on Cheng Zhengkui appear very lag, and. Art history study of ChengZhengkui presents the weaker trend, lack of research results, about his lifeexperiences and artistic achievement have not explored in great depth,with respect tohis book 《The Qingxi Manuscript》 research is belong to the blank areas.Based on the above reasons, I developed a keen interest on the study of ChengZhengkui. Through a lot of historical data verification and data analysis, I havespotted that 《The Qingxi Manuscript》 as Cheng Zhengkui last, not only rich incontent, style diversity, but also contains important clues of the artistic thought andartistic activities of Cheng Zhengkui. Therefore,take 《The QingXi Manuscript》 asthe breakthrough point to this topic, through systematic study on 《the QingxiManuscript》, comprehensive analyzing Cheng Zhengkui lifetime、art experience、painting ideas and painting style, focusing on study his life ideas of painting andpainting art activities, through the specific manifestation of his painting art, exploreits artistic style and the cause, reshape his artistic achievement and the status ofpainting. Full text is composed by six parts:Chapter one: Introduction. Introduces the research motivation, puts forward thepurpose of writing、 the research methods and research scope、significance;Chapter two: Background of 《The Qingxi Manuscript》. Summarized the lifeexperience、dating activity of Cheng Zhengkui and the cultural background of thetime,and then preliminary definite Cheng Zhengkui life path and the formationbackground of 《The Qingxi Manuscript》;Chapter there: Pandect of 《The Qingxi Manuscript》. Tease out and extract thewhole content of 《The Qingxi Manuscript》, sum up the current activities ofcalligraphic and painting works、collect and appreciate monuments activities ofCheng Zhengkui, from the perspective of arts sponsorship, to investigate the sponsorsof Cheng Zhengkui;Chapter four: Thoughts reflection of 《The Qingxi Manuscript》. DiscussedConfucian、 Taoist、buddhist three thoughts that exist in the 《The QingxiManuscript》 and migration characteristics of thought, discovered Cheng Zhengkuiliterati characteristics of thought, inductive Cheng Zhengkui painting ideas throughCheng Zhengkui creation view of painting, creation technique and the opinion ofappreciation and imitate classical art;Chapter five: Investigate of Cheng Zhengkui painting art.
