The research objects selected in this paper are annual hot words published by a highly reliable agency called Hudong Wiki together with several others from 2008-2014. Then, take hot words which reflect both positive and negative influence of the society as examples, we studied the correlation between both positive and negative hot words and contemporary ethic life. Negative hot words therefore reveals moral anomie in the present society which can be expressed by the dissimilation of public power, deficiency of social morality, the popularity of material attitude towards love and marriage and so on. Last but not least, according to the correlation study on hot words and contemporary social ethic living actuality and with a focus on moral anomie and ethic anomie in the society, we should rethink the hot words ethically and then ensure right guidance with right ethics. On one hand, the language form of the hot words should be regulated; eliminate the powerful negative influence the hot words bring to traditional language, analyze language ethic problems such as subculture, coarse language culture and vulgar culture produced by these hot words and highlight the ethnical guidance on hot words themselves. On the other hand, special attention should be placed on the role hot words play in spreading positive energy. Make sure netizens find the correct value proposition and achieve an entirely new level of spirit.Through research, this thesis proposes the following ideas: firstly, the internet hot words are keywords in contemporary social moral culture under the big data environment. By decoding these hot words, we can have an understanding of the social moral culture and life; Secondly, all the internet hot words are susceptible vocabulary. In the evolution of the dissemination model, susceptible vocabulary is divided into active and immune vocabulary, among which, the positive susceptible words generally trigger events of great social public voice. According to positive and negative social influence generated by the events of social public voice, the positive susceptible words are subdivided into positive and negative network hot words. In view of the negative class being the main body of network hot words and the primary cause of the great events of social public voice, they present the characteristic of network public voice, subjectivity, information tendency and periodic popularity in the development. These characteristics fit the situation which network hot words are attributes of an ethical culture keyword, and they also give it to the possibility of ethical guidance of network public voice, thus in a certain degree, effectively inhibit the negative social impact of network public voice, and promote social harmony; thirdly, there is a strong correlation between the network hot words and contemporary moral and cultural life. Through the network hot words, we can see the status of moral life in contemporary society. The positive network hot words guide excellent contemporary social morality, and the negative network hot words highlight the contemporary ideological and moral anomie; fourthly, in the light of the correlation research between network hot words and ethical and cultural life, we should pay attention to their guiding role to network public voice as the social moral culture keywords, maximize their educational function, send out the voice of China and transmit Chinese power in dealing with the attitude of network hot words. Thus, we ensure that internet users can build a healthy, positive and uplifting socialist core values both in the virtual world and real society. a steady stream of spiritual power will be provided for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation and the realization of the Chinese dream.
