Ci poetry in the Ming Dynasty can not be ignored in the history of China. Thisdissertation is based on the subjectivity of spread and reception in the Ming dynasty,discussing the influence of ci poetry through the anthologies of Ci, the tunes of ci poetry, thecomment of Ci-poetry and creation of ci poetry, etc. This dissertation provides a new angleand method to study Ci poetry in the Ming Dynasty by spread and reception of Tang-SongCi anthologies such as Hua Jian Ji and Cao Tang Shi Yu.This paper consists of the preface, five chapters,conclusion, appendix, etc.The preface analyzes reasons of the decline on creation of ci poetry in MingDynasty,introduces the research status, research ideas and methods.Chapter One argues that in the Ming dynasty literature ideological trend restoringancient ways, under the action of common interest, and many other factors, as well astang-song ci collection of literature acceptance. Hua Jian Ji,Cao Tang Shi Yu, Hua An CiXuan received great attention and application of the Ming Dynasty, while, Yue Fu Ya Ci,Yang Chun Bai Xue and Yue Fu Ya Ci were still at the obscure state. The writers inSouthern Song Dynasty, for example, Jiang Kui, Shi Da-zu and Wu Wen-ying had nopractical effect in Ming Dynasty.Chapter Two argues that people mostly used Hua Jian Ji and Cao Tang Shi Yu as atemplate adaptation of Ci anthologies in the early Ming Dynasty. The anthologies of Cigradually got rid of the limitations from Hua Jian Ji and Cao Tang Shi Yu. There weredistinctive ci anthologies such as Hua Cao Cui Bian and Gu jin Ci Tong in the late MingDynasty. The vision of ci poetry has become more rational, there were aesthetic adjustmentand constant change, reflecting the evolution of the concept of ci poetry.Chapter Three argues that comment on the Song Ci at the beginning stage of the MingDynasty Ci, which commentaries have important implications and guiding role. Yang Shen made a comment on Cao Tang Shi Yu, Tang Xian-zu comment on Hua Jian Ji, Shen JI-feicomment on Cao Tang Shi Yu poetry more than four episodes, Comment on Gu Jin Ci Tongrepresents the common characteristics and achievement in the late Ming Dynasty. Commentconstitutes an important part of Ci hermeneutics, which had important significance for thespread of literature and accept and the development of literary criticism.Chapter Four argues that Tang-Song Ci anthologiesconstruction of the spectrumprovides an important foundation and reference. The first work of the spectrum, Ci XueQuan Ti derived directly from Cao Tang Shi Yu. The majority of cases in Shi Yu Tu Pu ofZhang Yan are from Cao Tang Shi Yu except for a few words. Xu Shi-zeng had selected Cidiscern from Hua Jian Ji and Zun Qian Ji..Chapter Five argues that the popularity of Hua Jian Ji and Cao Tang Shi Yu in the MingDynasty has a direct influence on the creation of ci. For example, Zhang Yan and ChenZi-long had a close relationship between creation of ci, Hua Jian Ji and Cao Tang Shi Yu. Bylearning Hua Jian Ji and Cao Tang Shi Yu, they adopted a different strategy. Overall, theircreation had experienced a process from imitation to develop their own characteristics.Conclusion summarizes the main points: the wide spread of Tang-Song Ci anthologiessuch as Hua Jian Ji and Cao Tang Shi Yu become an important boost to push thedevelopment of the ci poetry in the Ming Dynasy. Dissemination of the Ming Dynasty andthe Tang-Song Ci anthologies influent each other mutually. Ci poetry in the Ming Dynastycan not be ignored in the history of Ci,while there were obvious limitations too.
