The Research Of The Novels Which Take University As The Theme Of The Contemporary(1949-2013)

The thesis takes the novels which take university as the theme in the contemporary era as the analysis object, takes the representative text in different historical periods since1949as the basis, clearing up the novels’ sequence of thought which take university as the theme in the contemporary era stage according to the natural time sequence of the history’s development, and then to explore the intellectual’s spiritual evolution since more than60years on above basis.The reason of selecting the topic, the research status and the research method and so on are elaborated in the introduction, as well as summarizing the thesis briefly in the epilogue. The main-body of he thesis is divided into four chapters:The first chapter discusses the novels which take university as the theme in "The Seventeen Years" period, basing on the simple introduction of the novels which taking university as the theme in modern literature stage and the background of university’s writing in "The Seventeen Years". The thesis select two representative text<The Red Road> and<Go ahead Bravely> as the example, in order to analysis the creation situation of the novels that take university as the theme and the intellectual’s different life choice at that time. Though<The Red Road> seems describe the university on the surface, in fact it is just the simple imitation of "Red Writing" which is very popular at that time, the university in the text is just the extension of the field of the class struggle;<Go ahead Bravely> has a little progress, it at least describes the students’ life at that time rather truly. Two authors different attitude reflects the intellectual’s two different values in "The Seventeen Years" stage, the former’s be affirmed and the latter’s be criticized reflects the intellectual’s survival condition roughly at that time;The second chapter discuss the university’ writing in the1980s, on the basis of the text of the novels which take university as the theme in the1980s. The creation of this period is consisted of two parts-<The University Times> and<The Period of University>, which are created in the1950s or1960s but are not published until in1980s;<Ma Lan Grass>、<The Starting> and<Life and Love> which are written in the1980s. All of works above keep pace with the writing mainstream of their own period, The former has obvious trace of "Red Writing", and the latter is in accordance with the "Scar" and "Introspection" writing trend which is popular on the early of1980s.
