The question about truth is the core of philosophy, but the connotation about thetruth is controversial. This paper tries to grasp the connotation of truth in the evolution ofwestern philosophy, and the truth interpretation of the connotation of Marx’s view aboutthe truth to show the critical view of truth beyond the western philosophy and itspractical value.The paper comb the western philosophical view of truth with the logic relation ofuniversal and inevitable. The truth is a universal and inevitable problem, with the reasonof the identity about thinking and being.
