The study on northeast banished person in early Qing dynasty has got highachievements on the basis of historical data collection, basic facts presentation andcultural banished person study. However, an in-depth analysis on interactions betweenthe banished person and northeast society in previous studies becomes lackluster.Firstly, the article is not intended to examine the full range of banished person, butrather focus on the interaction between banished person with special political statusand social change in northeast region, that is, on the one hand pay attention to thefunction of banished person in northeast region social change; on the other handconcern the impact on banished person activity with the northeast region socialchange. Secondly, the interaction between banished person and northeast region socialchange deeply reflects the Qing government’s political aspirations, that is, on the onehand through banishing criminals to northeast Qing government tried to build thenortheast into an ideal rear base, the banishment, management and control onbanished person coming out of this consideration; on the other hand, on the base ofnortheast region social change trend, Qing government adjusts the banished personactivities.With the social change in northeast region as an entry point, and the generalbanished person as the main object of study, through the exploration of the interactionbetween banished person and northeast region social change, the topic reveals therealization of Qing government’s political demands behind it. Therefore, the articlewill discuss the Qing government’s management and control on banished person, thesurvival state of banished person under government control, and northeast regionsocial change and banished person.The article is divided into six parts.The first part is an introduction, whichexplains the research status at home and broad, the definitions on relevant terms, thestudy scope, the documentation status and the research perspective.The second part, that is, the first chapter discusses the banishment system inQing dynasty. Qing dynasty laws inherited Ming dynasty, and exile in Ming dynastybanishment system was directly inherited by Qing dynasty. However, due to differentsources of troops, the implement of exile reflected big differences. It is worth notingthat on the succession of Ming exile system, Qing government created originallybanishment system. It was mainly used in northeast region in early Qing dynasty.Northeast region with a special strategic position is hometown of Manchu. So, the implementation of banishment penalty in northeast must take into account the purpose,process, role and characteristics. Based on it, the article divides banishment in earlyQing dynasty into four stages and makes a note on the main features and content ofeach stage.The third part, that is, the second chapter discusses the placement and control onbanished person in early Qing dynasty. This chapter focuses on the management andcontrol of Qing government on banished person, government behavior is the key point.It lie in two aspects, firstly, the control and management policy of Qing governmenton banished person and its implementation, secondly, the protections of Qinggovernment on banished person’s livelihoods. Qing government not just focuses onbanished person management, but also pays attention to their survival. Only studyfrom these two aspects, can we have a more comprehensive understanding ongovernmental management on banished person.The fourth part, that is, the third chapter discusses the survival state of northeastbanished person in early Qing dynasty. The chapter mainly discusses the survival stateof banished person. The so-called "survival state" refers to the form and condition inmanifestation of human survival activities, which contains social status andinteractions of banished person, marriage and family, livelihood and living conditions.The different characteristics of banished person were intervened by Qing governmentcompulsory measures, which reflected the Qing government’s political intentions.The fifth part, that is, the fourth chapter discusses the banished person in earlyQing dynasty and northeast region social change. This chapter focuses on theinteraction between banished person and northeast region society. The activities ofbanished person had a huge impact on northeast region society and promoted themajor changes of northeast region society. It included both the Qing governmentalmanagement and control and the initiative of banished person. The change ofnortheast region society also had an impact on banished person, which reflected thecognition and ideas of banished person on northeast.The sixth part, that is, the rest of the article makes a summary of interactionrelations between banished person and northeast region society, and reveals the role ofQing government in the process of social change in the northeast region.
