The phenomenological method has almost included all the fields of philosophy, when intentionality also develops fully as the core of phenomenology. People put the concept of intentionality with its more philosophical clarity into practice and ethics. An philosopher, Ihde, has put forward technological intentionality, which shows that the technology is the intermediary between human and the world. Basing on this, this paper puts forward ethics intentionality of modern technology. It is the inherent dimension of the technology. It will show its ethics intentionality as long as the technology exists. It has inherence, preexistence, context and construction, which becomes the foundation of the technology existence. So the technology can also become the basic model of human existence.The ethics intentionality of modern technology is put forward because of not only because of practical foundation of technology and appeals but also the inevitable result of the development of philosophy of technology. On the aspect of the practical foundation, the powerful modern technology has discovered the nature deeply and it constructs life-world in a quantitative way, and it discloses its essence of Ge-stell as a technology will. These show that the development of the modern technology needs law-made for itself from its inherence. So the modern technology appeals to be harmonious with not only the nature but also life-world. At the same time, the autonomy of modern technology needs self-discipline. Three appeals provide the necessity for the ethics intentionality of modern technology. On the aspect of the development of philosophy of technology, the’empirical turn’has become a mainstream, which leads one of direct results of’ethical turn’. Both turns focus on specific technology itself, which leads to’ethical turn of technology design’together finally. These provide the possibility for the ethics intentionality of modern technology.Ihde has put forward the technological intentionality and constructed four relations between human and technology:embodiment relations, hermeneutic relations, alterity relations, and background relations. Basing on these, this paper puts forward the concept of ethics intentionality of modern technology, which can advance the study of ethics of modern technology. This concept points that what the technology discloses is to shape and point ethically the relationship between human and the world as the.technology facing the practical situation. It shows that technical intentionality should contain ethics dimension. As long as the technology exists, it will show its ethics intentionality and it will construct its object appearing in the world, at the same time, it will be constructed by the object. In the embodiment relations, the ethics intentionality of modern technology centralizes on’focal body’, which makes human’s body as focus, unites and discloses the aspects of life-world, and gets the technology to adapt for various needs of human, life-world and human’s self existence. In the hermeneutic relations, the ethics intentionality of modern technology realizes ’humanity construction’, which gets the life-world as background, embodies human’s experience of living, discloses the world by technology standards, constructs humanity and takes on the responsibility of society. In the alterity relations, the ethics intentionality of modern technology constructs’responsibility enlarging’. The technology becomes the main undertaker of responsibility. And the responsibility enlarges from human to the technology self. In the background relations,’adjustment directivity’constructs the ethics intentionality of modern technology. It adjusts and constructs our life-world and transfers to our experiences and actions’Gestalt Structure. So it points to human and the life-world by the model of adjusting.Thus, the ethics intentionality of modern technology’s characteristics mainly shows four aspects:inherence, preexistence, context and construction.
