Non-Chinese pronunciation of Chinese characters has very important meaning in the research of Chinese phonetic history. Japanese, Korean and Vietnamese pronunciation of Chinese characters made a reflection of Chinese pronunciation in the middle ancient times and relatively later. So form the beginning of Chinese phonologic study represented by Bernhard Karlgren works non-Chinese pronunciation of Chinese characters became an important base in reconstructions of ancient Chinese phonetic system.In Vietnam, the Dai nationality also has the Dai language of Chinese characters, this Non-Chinese pronunciation of Chinese characters may also be became an important base in reconstructions of ancient Chinese phonetic system. This dissertation chose the Dai language of Chinese characters in Vietnam as an object of study just because of its high linguistic worth.This study mainly uses comparison, analysis and inductive methods. Through comparative analysis of Chinese middle ancient phonetic system and Dai language of phonetic system seeks corresponding rules between this two phonetic systems.
