South Korea and China have communicated with each other for more than two thousand years. Because of their geographical adjacent, they both have a close relationship on politics, economies and cultures. Among them, Confucian culture is the most important cultural communication. It still have a guiding impact on family relationships of South Korea. The relationship of the parents and their children is the core of the family relationship, and the ethical system between them can be summarized as a word "piety". "Piety" culture is a major part of the traditional Confucian culture, which is where the South Korean traditional "piety" culture stem from.Although Chinese and Korean "piety" cultures both originated from the same Confucian culture, it seems that there have appeared some unique substantive characteristics when their political, economic and cultural thoughts develops. The essential characteristics of Chinese traditional "piety" culture show the nature, feudal class, rules of support, history and reality, but the essential characteristics of South Korea show the integration and modernity. There are some similarities and differences on process of inheriting tradition and developing continuity.During a few centuries, "piety" culture constantly influence not only the relationship between parents and children, but also the consciousness and lifeway of Korean people. "Piety" being the core family idea, can be strikingly reflected by the Korean etiquette and the Korean dramas. "Piety" culture, which is reflected by the Korean dramas, is a common traditional virtue. It is expressed by the worship of ancestors, respecting parents and grandparents, etc. These filial duties have the stability of time. However the time and culture changes, they are still the criterions of Chinese and Korean "piety" cultures. The relationship between wife and her mother-in-law has an important position in the "piety" culture, which presents the rheological characteristics of advancing with the times. Chinese and South Korean youth have the same and some different ideas on the stability and rheological part of "filial piety" in Korean dramas, because these two countries have the cultural homology but some differences during the development of modern political economy. By watching Korean dramas, youth of both countries are able to experience what is empathy to real "filial piety", what is the real meaning of happy family. Although today’s young generation for individuality and freedom, but the Confucian tradition of "filial piety" culture can still infiltrate the thought and life of the younger generation through the Korean dramas.Korean dramas as a bearer of information, is an important medium for Chinese people to understand South Korea. Korean dramas, with its strong aesthetic inseparable, are popular in China. Aesthetic is contained in the "filial piety" culture, which makes "filial piety" culture full of vitality, more vivid and full of aesthetic feeling, making the audience get the purification and distillation of thoughts. This aesthetic embodied in sincere emotion orientation, compliant behavior and pursuing the beauty. Compared with Chinese TV dramas, Korean dramas emphasis more on the etiquette form, so as to make people more charmed and aesthetic, which making the ideas of "filial piety" culture more persuasive and influential, standardizing the behavior of modern embodiment of the traditional culture medium and guidelines.Analyzing both Chinese and South Korean youth groups on accepting the "filial piety" in Korean dramas culture is significant on the cultural exchange of China and South Korea and the development of the contents. South Korean TV dramas can know more about the longing and interest to traditional culture of the youth of China, and create more films and television works with the theme of traditional cultures. Chinese films and television works need to strengthen the spreading of traditional culture consciousness, and study the aesthetic characteristics of the South Korean TV dramas, to create high quality films and television works with the national cultural characteristics.
