A Study Of The Male Images In Korean Youth Idol In The Perspective Of Female

Since the late 90’s Korea Idol star dreams of Star in my Heart of "Xiao min",till Today’s Kill Me Heal Me with seven major split personality disorder,Korea male image in idol dramas have gone through nearly 20 years of transformation,and also in the continuousinnovation,breakthrough at the audience imagine limits to male characters.Based on the above,the eassy is from the plays ontology,based on research results at home and abroad,from a woman’s perspective to divide these male characters in chronological order classification,based on the discussion on idol show in the narrative aspect of development and change, and the change of gender relations and advancement.Three chapters were discussed :Chapter one was looking up male, are shaped by the traditional aesthetic of "Prince charming".Chapter two washead in the male,are shaped by the modern aesthetic of "high-handed President type" male images.Chapter three wasthe fantasy image of man with super powers called“super power men.” The last chpter,Consumption dimensions and aesthetic dimension, Korea cultural industry dimensions show that these cultural elements and the image of male as represented by the Korean cultural identity,and the gap between reality and the drama.
