Han Leran, a revolutionary, political activist, painter and artist in the Republic of China, has experienced two activities in the field of politics and culture, and has historical value in two fields. He is engaged in the political party and the political activities, and the scope of activities is involved in cultural associations, newspapers,media, art education, art and Archaeology and other categories. So he is very special of the artists.Floundering more than a dozen Chinese provinces and eight European countries in complex turbulent social environment, Han Yueran engaged in the proletarian revolution.Limited in multiple roles, he is keen on art and cultural activities, which contributed to his experience.In revolutionary perspective, his artistic activitiesnot only supplemented with revolutionary activities, but also condensed a heavy social responsibility and political orientation. From the establishment of “the Youth Paining Association”to Mukden Academy of Fine Arts and Kizil arts archeology, his activities gradually deepened social and political relevance, playing multiple social functions. Committed to rebel cultural domination, Han Yueran exceeded the era of social and academic restrictions under the guidance of Macro social revolution ideals and objectives.His creations reflect public needs and aesthetic in content, delivering positive high-spirited fighting spiritin consciousness, thereby forming independent expressionism, modernism,anti-war art trends, which emphasize public art exploration transcends the academic limitations in practice and produce integrated art characteristics with folk style.In this paper, the writer derived views by applying sociology, literature, taxonomy and graphics in historical background: 1. Han Yueran is an artist who firstly stablishedproletarian literary concept and conducted public art practice; 2. Art activities,at the same time, as a way to spread communist ideology, made him the first left-flankartist, established the first left-flank art league. It is the first private art school in Northeast in Shenyang andalso the oldest Communist Organization; 3. Han Leran’s artistic creation is limited by revolutionary activities and artistic ideas in the form and content, and its research value is not representative of the artistic innovation and academic level. As an artist, he has a revolutionary contribution as well as historical value, which makes him a special type of artists. The special function and relationship between revolution and art is the significance of this case in the academic field. This study considers that the special experience involved in the case and the creative significance of a number of categories of artistic activities of the case is the artistic value of the case.
