Standing in an atmosphere of post-revolutionary era, the paper will reexamines the characterization of the Chinese revolutionary intellectuals in modern literary and judge the situation of those times and self-projection of people, spiritual royal Instructions of the characters in the novel art sympathetically and apprehensively. Thus, It will probe into the vicissitudes and spiritual struggle and reasonable torture of the intellectuals after their encountering the grand theme, and therefore question their nightmare and their own destiny.Chinese revolution is a long process in which the revolutionaries come to realize themselves and the revolution progressively. Chinese writers have an idealistic attitude about the revolution and the revolutionaries in the early stage of Chinese modern literature. The image of the Chinese revolutionary intellectuals was characterized by conventional thermometer of knight-errant or a handsome and a pretty girl in the traditional novels of the knights and love. For example, Di Birang who got in touch with the secret society and was outspoken and straightforward and Shen Xuecheng who was gallant and chivalrous were all heroes in "The Roaring of Lions" written by ChenTianhua. "The Soul of Jade Pear" written by Xu Zhenya would interspersed new ambitious voices between scholar-beauty models and therefore the personal romance of Meng Xia would be deepened in the theme of community and country. And therefore it rescued the country and the individual at the same time. Zhang Wentian’s "Journey" staged a "revolution and love" in an international version and found strong glue between the individual and revolution for later. Junkai thus become the prototype of the literary language code from the new ideology. Of course, there were a number of thinkers and writers who thought profoundly the meaning of revolution outside the mainstream. Such as Lu Xun, he illuminationed the loneliness with his own loneliness in his "Medicine", so people feel the double burden of the revolution and enlightenment on the intellectuals in the May fourth period. Haitianduxiaozi’s "Thdm" was first perceived the responsibility and mission of women revolutionaries they can do or need to do. And the body of women revolutionaries became a female revolutionary weapon so they subverted themselves after the subversion over revolution. In the thirties of the last century, the revolution has already become a main turbulent tide. The revolution and revolutionary ideas, actions and norms have been plain to express. The revolutionaries of these modern novels show the depression and the beauty, the decision and the hesitance of the times in the collision among the doctrine, practice and ideas. For instance, Li Leng in the Ba Jin’s early novel "Newborn" gradually headed towards a new life from an anarchist who doubted and negated everything and became a revolutionary intellectual for the people and the public. And Li Jie in the Jiang Guangci’ s "roaring land" abandoned his class origin, family affection, his sweet love, even his life in order to win the revolutionary status. As a result, everything will become, can become a successful revolution coupon. Even if Beijing authors who had put "aesthetic" as the center of literature also shaped particular revolutionary intellectuals in their novels at this time. They may be misunderstood, may be neutralized, but relative to those "orthodox" intellectuals, they were cute and respectable "Chihan". They are also the nation’s backbone, which is meaning of "Small and Medium Nguyen" written by Shen Cong-wen. In the era of the critical situation, some intellectual revolutionaries may be decadent, and even talented writer would be also dispirited in the chaos, those brought Pan He-ling who was depraved in the novel of Mu Shi-ying who was Shanghai style in the context of modern city. They are skeptics, non-heroic and even clown. And Mao Dun’s "Erode" would still search for narrative tension and curve among paradox and revolutionary subversion between female body and revolutionary movement. At the same time it implied that new female intellectuals have been awakened. When the revolution was not just for its own reactionary, the alien invasion of Japanese adds the complexity and variety of intellectual revolutionaries. The difference of the region and politics and context in the Kuomintang-controlled areas, liberated and occupied areas makes literary fiction more glittering. As a result, the perfect revolutionary intellectuals finally appeared in the novels of the liberated area to meet the main ideology. They are leaders and planners of the revolutionary movement, at the same time they are also participants in the campaign of practice. However, they were too perfect in the art and they were not real in the real life. Jiang Chunzu, who was the protagonist in the Lu Ling’s "Sons and Daughters of the Rich Man".continued the fate of the intellectuals in the May fourth period. He examined and converted to the "people" and "nation" and it brought narcissism and self-reflection of intellectuals. In the era of so dangerous, there was still Anonymous who shaped Inti in his novel "Beast·Beast·Beast". Inti could reflect and transcend the revolution after longing for revolution and joined it to pursue the perfect circle of the whole life. Although this was metaphysical thinking which was unacceptable by the Mainstream Trend, but it showed a depth and intensity of times thinking. Perhaps precisely because of this, such thinking would be destined to be lonely. Similarly, Ding Ling and Lu Ping who was the protagonist in Ding Ling’s "In hospital", were also lonely. And this was entangled and struggle among female gender, physical confusion and intellectual critical consciousness brought by the revolution of women. Though, we would still be able to experience the glory and sorrow of Chinese "prophet".In short, the turbulent tide of the era coerced force to take apart the intellectuals and revolutionaries. The rolling waves could not brought the endless vicissitude and desolation, it left the implication of literary history, cultural history and intellectual history for the posterity. But the compromise and meet, resistance and embrace between the intellectuals and the grand themes will be an eternal paradox. Today, we should adhere to the spirit of rational criticism, and sympathize and comprehend their historical limitations, but we should also respect their sublimity and transcendence. We should create our own history.
