The Study Of Chinese Overseas Students And Modern Military Aviation

Since the modern times, along with the aircraft widely used in military field,government at all levels in China gradually aware of its great effect in the future war.Therefore during41years from1908to1949, China selected and dispatched overseasstudents many times to Britain, the United States of America, the Soviet Union andFrance learning the advanced military aviation technology and aircraft manufacturingtechnology. According to incomplete statistics, China selected and dispatched morethan3000overseas students, most of them return home and join in military aviationconstruction after learning, made tremendous contribution for the development ofmilitary aviation cause. Chinese aviation overseas students mainly have four types,the first type is spontaneous learning aviation technology by individual voluntary, thesecond is selected and dispatched by the navy and the department of aviation, thethird is overseas students who went to America and received training, the forth isselected from college system. The selected and dispatched form of aviation overseasstudents is diversity and complexity, both central government and local governmentsend oversea students, not only the department of aviation selected and dispatchedstudents but also the department of navy and the department of education, not onlyhave free student but also have self-funded students. Their oversea studying time islong or short, some study for several years, others only2or3month. Their overseastudy destination mainly is the United States of America, France and Italy. Since thefoundation of Nanjing National Government, modern Chinese aviation overseasstudents affair gradually moved toward standardization and institutionalized becauseof strengthen the management of overseas education.This dissertation emphasized on four important aspects: overseas students andmodern military aviation organization and system, overseas students and modernmilitary aviation thought, overseas students and modern military aviation industry,overseas students and modern military aviation education and training, focus on therelationship between overseas students and Chinese military aviation. The finalchapter mainly made a simple comparison of the relationship between aviation overseas students, overseas Chinese airline staff and foreigner airline staff, focus onthe position, role and function of overseas students in modern Chinese militaryaviation history. In my opinion, the outstanding work of overseas students opened upa new prospect for modern Chinese aviation affairs, promoted the production anddevelopment of Chinese military aviation thought, overseas students is the founderand important technical backbone of modern Chinese aviation industry, they are alsothe important force of modern Chinese military aviation education and training, at thesame time, made great contribution for the establishment and development of NewChina military aviation.By the study of overseas students and modern Chinese military aviation industry,the author summary five lessens, first of all, must pay attention to overseas studentssending work, construct international talent training mechanism. Secondly, theimportant reason of overseas student return home and dedicated to aviation industry isto serve the motherland. Thirdly, must put military aviation construction onprominent poison of national defense construction. Fourthly, the development ofaviation industry must not depend on foreign nations, we should independentlydevelop domestic aviation industry. Fifthly, must have long-term and science aviationdevelopment plan. Finally, pay attention to the training of aviation talent and correctlyuse them.
