The Socialist System Construction History Research

System construction is a key link in the history of human development. In today‘s world, the socialist system and the capitalist system peacefully coexist, co-operateand compete against each other. A good system construction is increasingly becomingan important factor affecting the overall national strength in the world today.Domestically, the socialist system with Chinese characteristics was established notlong before, so we must strengthen institutional construction. And given theinternational political situation, it is also a pressing task to strengthen the study of theconstruction of the socialist system. As the basic premise of the study of socialistsystem, exploring the historical experience of socialist system construction isundoubtedly of great theoretical and practical significance.Rich experiences of construction of the socialist system have been accumulatedin the long process of historical development. Based on a comprehensiveinvestigation, six experiences have been summarized as the following: it is extremelynecessary to have a profound understanding of the importance of the construction ofsocialist system; it must be clearly realized that constructing the socialist system is aphased and long-term process; it is necessary to grasp the socialist system’scharacteristics in nationality and times; the openness and inclusiveness of thesocialist system must be firmly maintained; the unity of the means and purpose ofsocialist construction must be firmly insisted; it is necessary to pay full attention tothe comprehensiveness and harmony in constructing the socialist system.The introduction section of this paper mainly talks about the researchbackground and significance, the basic definition, research conditions, researchmethods, research ideas and innovations. The main part of this paper is divided intosix chapters. Chapter I summarizes the experiences on the necessity and importanceof the construction of the socialist system, which belongs to the “why” level issues;Chapter II-VI discusses on the “how to do it” level issues. In addition, each chapter iswritten in accordance with the logic “questions raised by the times–the answering ofthe questions by socialists–experiences and lessons learned from the practice”Chapter I studies on the experiences which are about the necessity andimportance of the construction of the socialist system. Through looking back theraising, responding and answering of the questions of the necessity and importance of the construction of the socialist system, the historical experiences have been drawn,which is that it is necessary to have a profound understanding of the importance of theconstruction of the socialist system and it is the basic premise of the construction ofsocialist system.Chapter II focuses on the experiences about the time of socialist systemconstruction. Through the review and analysis of the historical process of buildingsocialist system, the historical experiences have been drawn as follows: it must berealized objectively that socialism will not be realized overnight, while it is along-term historical process containing several stages, which is the fundamental basisfor the construction of the socialist system.Chapter III mainly discusses on the experiences of building the nationalcharacter of the socialist system in certain times. The national character is thedomestic environment of the construction of socialist system and it is fundamental.The times are the international environment of the construction of socialist system.By reviewing the historical process of the socialists’ raising and answering thesequestions, the historical experiences can be drawn as the following: it must be fullygrasped that the socialist system need to have national character in certain times.Chapter IV focuses on the experiences on the openness and inclusiveness of theconstruction of the socialist system. By reviewing the history of the socialist systemdevelopment, it is proved that the socialist system can develop only in competitionand collaboration with the capitalist system, which is the important condition of theconstruction of socialist system.Chapter V talks about the experiences of the unity between the means andpurpose of the construction of socialist system. Most of the socialist countries havepaid heavy price for not insisting on the unity between the means and goals inconstructing the socialism. So the lessons should be drawn, that is, the unity betweenthe means and goals must be firmly insisted, which is the key to building the socialistsystem.Chapter VI focuses on the experiences of building a comprehensive andcoordinated socialist system. The historical experiences can by drawn fromreviewing the history, that is, we must adhere to build a comprehensive andcoordinated socialist system, which is the fundamental requirement of theconstruction of socialist system. The conclusion part of the paper follows the principle of the combination oftheory and practice, and deepens the research on the important subject of theconstruction of socialist system.
