Reform and opening is the most important movement since1970’s in China. It makes China very differently, and people call it as "the second revolution". Reform and opening to the outside world is not only a social productivity development of economical reform, it is also a comprehensive social transformation of economic, political and cultural. In this process, the social changes very intensely. Did not like the western countries in where the transformation used hundreds of years, China must be doing these things in the short several dozens years. Reform and opening is also the road to make Chinese which county is famous for its traditional civilization into the modern society. In this process, Chinese people experience rapid progress and prosperity, on the other hand, they also experience some pains of modern society,"social anomie" is the most obvious manifestation of this pains."Social anomie" calls for the emergence of social integration, the more intense of social conflicts, the more intense the urgency of social integration.In a sense,the social integration is an interpretive concept,and also a constructive concept. However, because of the functionalist tradition, the overemphasis on social stability and social cohesion, this concept has been criticized by people. In fact, the concept of social integration need not set a harmony utopia, facing up of social conflict, we can keep the scientific connotation of the concept without the so-called guarantee of "divine society".China’s reform and opening turned on the road to modern society, the process of the social transformation is initiated and led by the Communist Party of China.The process of social integration in China, the CPC is the most important power. We can say that if there is no Communist Party of China, there would be no today’s Chinese society. Particularity of Chinese society and practicality of China’s reform and opening, we can not copy the Western theory and experience. To criticize of them,we should find a suitable theory to explain the history of China’s reform and opening. China’s great reform has been30years, as the requirement of Deepening reform,we must explain the experience of the development of Chinese society scientifically and rationally. In fact, the practice of China’s reform and opening has been ahead of the development of the theory. Therefore, the current important task is explore the history of China’s reform and opening systematically, and then enhances the understanding of this great practice.Firstly, the paper will analyze the concept of social integration from the history of the theory of social integration; we can contrast the academic debate between functionalists and social conflict theorists,and then,get further understanding combined with Marxism. Face to the main tasks of New China, from the national conditions, CPC has taken a kind of "political movement" as the core of social integration mode Which was summarized from the experience during the Revolutionary War. This integrated approach has its historical rationality, and also have played an important role in the history, but this particular way of social integration contains a paradox,which led a significant setbacks to social development after the founding of New China,and it is also an important reason for why CPC carried out reform and opening.With the developing of Reform and Opening,changes importantly have taken place in China. With the developing of market economy, the traditional model of resource allocation is gradually giving way to the market;with the deepening of social differentiation, the traditional social structure is becoming more diverse.
