In the late Qing period, countries was in the downfall of crisis. On one hand, the bureaucracy corruption developed, on the other hand, the colonial powers were attempting to carve up china. With the influx of western culture emerging in, national concept also gradually formed, social reform as the goal of richening people and strengthening state became the pursuit of world insight. In face of the problems home and abroad, traditional knowledge system of Confucianism can not cope with the changes. The advanced intellectuals were straitened for lack of theoretical tools to change the situation. In such a social crisis, an ancient theory in han dynasty-New Text Confucianism was furious revival, becoming a current of the times. The profound connotations in new text scholarship was applied to interpreting advanced opinions and calling for reform by the intellectuals. Kang-Youwei’s thoughts of Confucian classics constructed the theoretical basis for reform movement, which also promoted the spread of western culture.Kang-youwei’s first step is to sweep the ancient classics as the target to attack the ancient classics imprisoning the thoughts. In this position, Kang-youwei put forward the outrageous claim that ancient six classics since the eastern han dynasty are all faked by Liu-Xin in<Xin Study By the Pseudo-test>. Although Kang’s comments tries to restore order, his theory actually claims that all of the ancient classics regarded as the Confucian orthodoxy by the feudal rulers are pseudo. In <Confucius Reform Text>, Kang-youwei mold Confucius who is the greatest stage and teacher into an enthusiastic reformer, in order to find a powerful theoretical foundation for The Reform Movement of1898. In Kang-youwei’s reform, the traditional new text Scholarship in han dynasty glows new vitality and vigor. The new text scholarship thrived in The Reform Movement of1898, which is the theoretical foundation for Kang’s political motive with the direct political practice significance. In the aspect of thought. Kang’s new test scholarship is a challenge and breakthrough of the theoretical basis of China’s feudal order. In the aspect of culture, Kang-youwei’s’two test’not only broke through the traditional feudal thought like a hurricane, but also opened up the gate the of west culture emerging into.’Three Dynasties’concept and’Reform under the disguise of tradition’ were specified in the theological framework of the modification and transformation of traditional Confucian classics. Kang-youwei used the Confucian classics as a strategy of elaborating his own ideas and a media between chinese and western culture, which reflects the ambition to open up a new prospect and the courage to reform political system as a pioneer and also the limits of the political philosophy,’the disorder of the theoretical system’and’disguise of traditions’ are the limits of Kang’s political philosophy. On one hand, modern concept expressed in traditional forms is constrained by ancient views, as the same time, the modern interpretation of ancient ideas is a distortion of ancient classics. On the other hand, new text scholarship becomes the medium of the communication between chinese and western culture, which means that Kang’s theoretical system is difficult to avoid confusion between Chinese and western culture.Kang-youwei’New Text Confucianism is the significant thought resources for the reform in Qing dynasty, which is also the profile of the western culture impact on traditional culture in the process of modernization, showing the difficulties of traditional cultural transformation. At the same time, Kang-youwei’s New Text Scholarship symbols the decline of the last generation of scribes, which describes the old intellectuals’ideological and academic characteristics of ideas in temporary shortage in the late Qing dynasty as clear as a mirror.
