Research On The Profession Ethics Education Of Public Transport Driver

Public transportation has become a window that reveals the civilization of a city. The professional ethics conditions of bus drivers have directly influence on the developments of urban public transportation. Strengthen professional ethics education of bus drivers has become an important and realistic issue in the practice of developing urban public transportation, and have both theoretical and realistic significance. In theoretical significance, this would enrich the ideological and political educational theory of the Communist Party of China; In the realistic view, this would make an effective plan on strengthening the professional ethics conditions of the bus drivers based on the empirical research and promoting the healthy development of public transport industry.This research based on the ethics theories of Marxism, applied both quantitative and qualitative analysis, trying to grasp the basic feature of current bus drivers’ professional ethics precisely based on the study of bus driver’s professional ethics education, and analyze the contributory factor of their professional ethics, properly define the basic principles of their professional ethics education, and finally come up with a plan which can be used to enhance bus drivers’ professional ethics education.Bus drivers’professional ethics are the general term of moral ethics and behaviors of the bus drivers during they fulfill their duty, which includes their inner recognition and accept willingly. Their professional ethics are the specific embodiment of socialist professional ethics in public transport industry. Professional ethics education include 5 aspects, which are devotion、honesty、helpful、observe law and discipline, and civilized service. Strengthen the " professional ethics of bus drivers is the urgently require of public transport industry practice the socialist core values; the inner requirements of improving bus drivers’professional ethics; the realistic needs of upgrading the ideological and political education of bus drivers.Empirical research has revealed that, even the index of bus drivers’professional ethics is high, but still has a lot space to increase; besides, the majority of bus drivers are eager to get professional ethics education, so it’s urgent and important for bus drivers to get devotion、honesty、helpful、 observe law and discipline, and civilized service educations.Since bus drivers’professional ethics are the result of interaction of 3 factors, which are individual values、public transport industry culture and society environments, so in order to strengthen bus drivers’ professional ethics education,4 basic principles are required, standardizing and restraining; fitting the needs; guarding in advance and setting good examples.In specific methods, to improve bus drivers’professional ethics education require they following the lead of socialist core values; consolidating the consciousness of duty、safety、 law-compliance and service; building the online platform of bus drivers’professional ethics education; optimizing the "culture of public-transport industry; purifying the social environments.
