The Importance Of Central Asia Security To China’s Foreign Policy

This research provides an analysis of the importance of Central Asia secu-rity towards Chinas foreign policy. The present research highlights these two matters and reasons why China s presence in this region. Moreover, Central Asia region has become important matter to Chinas foreign policy during post-Soviet Union context. Importance of Central Asia security for China, has divided into two parts, energy and economic security as well as security of west border which has common border with Central Asian republics par-ticularly Xinjiang security. China as a fast developing country need more and more energy to continue its development process.as a result, one of the main policy for China is energy security policy which it seeks for energy as well as build good relations with countries which have energy resources specially in oil and gas. Central Asia region with huge resources of energy and with good geopolitics situation near west Chinas border make this region unique for Chinese policy makers view. This research tries to find out what is Chinas policy and projects to access the energy and economic market of the region. Another important reason of Central Asia security for China is maintain safely in region and its west border which have shared with Cen- tral Asian republics. Activity of separatist, terrorist groups and their tie to beyond borders its dangerous for Chinas national security and interest. So, these activities encourage China to build a good relation with Central Asia nations to fight against these groups because these countries also want to fight with threats. Further argue for following research is about cooper-ate as well as multilateral polices between China and Central Asia countries in Shanghai Cooperation Organization the organization which can be con-sidered as a collective security organization which both China and member nation tries to reach polices and goals in the frame of SCO.
