Study On Affairs Of Prisoner Of War In Chinese Army

Most academic achievements on the related issues of the PLA’s prisoner of war policy are based on the history practice as the background. Most researches are generally working upon the historical memories and the lessons learned,but specialty study on the prisoner of war policy under the background of informationized warfare is rare.Associate with the prisoner of war policy in the war are scattered in the study of military history, the history of war,psychological warfare and other studies,but those are not comprehensive system.This study systematically reviews the important documents and related research about our army’s work of prisoner,makes a special summary of relevant content,and enriches the previous research perspective.In this dissertation,the prisoner of war policy is comprehensive and specificly analyzed with methods such as literature research,comparative analysis,experience summary and quantitative analysis.First of all,the study systematically explains the concepts about common issues,and resolves the historical background of development process of our military work of prisoner.Secondly,it is focused on the theoretical principles,analyzes the ideological foundation,humanity idea,legal origin and rules of scale. It discusses the reality war policy influences from the Marx’s military theory,the people’s army of humanity idea,ancient prisoner of the military law in China,and the law of international humanity.Thirdly,it analyzes the problems and challenges of the prisoner of war policy during the period of Land Revolution War,Anti-Japanese War,the people war of liberation,the war to resist U. S. aggression and aid Korea. It systematically reviews and summarizes the successful experience of our army’s prisoner of war policy in the war.Fourthly, it explains the superiority of our prisoner of war policy through quantitative analysis method based on the comparison of the rate and other objective data of prisoners captured mortality,conversion and surrender. Further increasing the reliability and accuracy of the qualitative analysis results.Finally,the dissertation is going to explore the challenges and demands of informationized warfare to the prisoner of war policy of war. It analyzes the current contradictions existing in the area of our army’s prisoner of war policy from the point of view,which are innovative development ideas,model design, scientific planning mission and process. It puts forward a sound proposal,to be able to fully protect the prisoner of war policy functions to fulfilled in future war.In conclusion, this paper analyzes the theoretical basis of our army’s work of prisoner,carding improve the practice course of our army’s prisoner of war policy as well as fully demonstrated the excellence in our army’s work of prisoner. And then, it scientifically analyzes American affairs of prisoner system and practice experience,and explores the way to adapt to the informationized warfare. Finally,it systematically constructs the working mode which is cultivate by our own characteristics. The study is aimed to be helpful for the routine military exercises and training, and the standardization of the basic procedure and matters needing attention to the work of prisoner.
