In recent decades, China has been transformed from an agricultural country into an industrialized country. During this process, industrialization was the fundamental stimulating power, while urbanization was the result of this transformation. Hence there exist some relationships between industrialization and rural sports. These relationships were displayed in different forms. On one hand, industrialization facilitates the rural sport:it provides time and space for rural sports; promotes the wakening of the awareness of rural sports systematization; creates advanced sports culture; sets up multi-sports-values, on the other hand, rural sports supports the deepening and upgrading of industrialization. During industrialization, such labors characters as physical health, mental health and cooperation only could be acquired through the influence that sports practice has on labors. Basing on these points, this dissertation analized rural sports body, culture, time and space condition, organization managing guarantee and values guidence from the perspective of industrialization by diachronic and synchronic methods.First, our industrialization starts from the downstream of industrial chain which means the low technology content, low additional add. This kind of industry supplies the rural labors with meager salary which can not support their families’migration to cities. Concluding from these facts, rural labors’spiritual and material connections still belong to countryside. Rural labors’movement between city and countryside greatly changed the rural population structure, family income structure and psychological states, and at the same time, brought the urban civilization, industrial civilization and other cultures into rural area, which laid the foundation for the rural residents to convert to new sports ideas. Furthermore, industrialization fares the physical working burdens of rural residents and increases their free time, and thus make people have more time and chances to do physical exercise.Second, the original rural sports managing systems are facing the challenges from the diversifying of rural sports bodies, multi-values of different interest groups, various sports cultures and the atomization of rural society. But, organizational characteristics of industrialization direct rural sports management to the social direction and offer the developing opportunities for the construction of various management systems.Third, the hierarchy of China’s industrialization makes rural sports structural characteristics. China’s industrialization starts from the eastern costal area, then the middle and western area, this leads to that different rural areas have different industrial levels; furthermore because cities as centers of industrialization have more priorities in this process, the urban villages, suburbs and rural villages show great differences. These differences account for the varieties of rural sports bodies, culture, time and space condition, organization managing guarantee and values guidance.Generally speaking, rural sports is spiritual and physical; cultural and productive; theoretical and materialistic; of individuality and of sociality. During the fusing between rural sports and industrialization, because of the differences mentioned above, there exist many kinds of modes. And these modes need the theorists to analyze and give their explanations. This dissertation just does some probes in this domain.
