China has been developing fast in thirty years since Reform and Openingpolicies was executed. However, ecology of the social ethics dramaticallydeteriorated with the great progress in social economy. Many problems were brokenout in public ethic on human body, which were often seemed as a dangerous signalthat will lead collapse of moral religion in the whole society. As a fact,now the traditional moral religion on human body obviously has to face to thechallenges from unhealthy ideology and quantity of social factors.At the moment, school moral education keeps quiet and silent to the ethiccrisis revealed above because they take no action about that. These phenomenaare direct proof which reflects the defects in modern pedagogic theory andpractice. Of course, some forerunners had considered the problems and done lotof works,or even put forth some suggestions and new theory to enforce thetheoretical base of school moral education. Nevertheless, there is still no stepon how to develop and improve the physical morality level of the children inschool. Educators now confront to the fact that there is no clear terminus,principles, standards, divisions, methods about development of physicalmorality, which means there is a real vacuum exists in the modern moral education.The research was focused on the area of physical morality education and takenup with development in the theoretical area of moral education. On the base ofpioneers’ fruits, the research was engaged with comprehensive use of literaturedata method, language analysis method, Venn diagram method and method ofintegrity of history and logic, which explores the involved concepts, nature,contents and structure of physical morality. Additionally, the study has alsoanalyzed the physical morality crisis taken place in modern China society. Asa result, school physical morality education was put forth as a strategy to tacklewith the crux of the physical morality crisis, which also seamed as a organicpart of the school P.E. Systematic concepts and points were demonstrated andexplored on the problems on the education division and practical applicationin the area.At the beginning (Chapter I), the concept of physical morality has beenanalyzed form the view of ontology, and the study points that morality in humanbody is not equal to the law system which is ruling human body in secular society.However, physical morality should more be considered as a substance which carevalue of human body from aspects of social ethics and natural ethics. By analysisand review, the main concept and the other that involved were elucidated andclarified in this chapter.Proceed from the base that Chapter I has done, Chapter II has proceeds threemain areas in view of epistemology. Following the clues before modern history,the research has firstly explored the evolvement of ideology about physicalmorality in eastern and western. In succession of the historical exploring, theresearch has surveyed and analyzed the moral crisis taken place in modern society, then the topic was discussed and focused in Chinese society, which is taken asa main background while the crisis of physical morality breaking out. Theresearch points that the ethic crisis of physical morality in China is not justa social problem and this should more be considered as a question of physicaleducation in modern school. In the third part of the Chapter II, the ethic dilemmathat modern school confronts has been analyzed from the aspects of curriculumand teaching.In Chapter III and Chapter IV, the research mainly focused on the educationtheory about development of physical morality. On the one hand, physical moralityhas been explored as a topic as part of physical education in modern school.Furthermore, the study also discusses the theoretical extent P.E, and why P.Eshould be taken as the main pipe to promote the development of human body ethics.From the standpoint of the nature of physical education, the research hasexplored the rule and objectivity in physical morality education withapplication of cognitive-development theory. At the end of chapter III, thearticle criticizes several theoretical biases on the relations between P.E andmoral development. Then, the involved topics have been explored and proved fromthe aspects of teleology and content theory in development of physical morality,which emphatically studied the goal and contents of physical morality educationwith respective methods. With summing up and generalization of the results, theconclusion has been shown in the end of the chapter by the way of setting upthe basic category of physical morality education.According to the contents discussed above, the study shows that theeducators have to realize the gap which exists in the area of theory and practiceon physical morality education, and actions should be adopted to change thepassive situation. In Chapter VI, the research also shows that people shouldconsider the educational actions on body ethics as reconstruction of physicalmorality about mankind. To realize the target, school P.E has to shoulder thehistoric task to develop children’s physical morality from theory to practice,which also should be seemed as a great innovation of modern school P.E. Next,the research has discoursed upon the basic function of physical moralityeducation and pivotal role that school P.E plays in the modern school system.As an objectively social background, physical morality education, which meansreconstruction of human body ethics by school P.E, has been located asinevitability that the socialistic education evolves in China. As a exploringin practical system of physical morality education, Chapter VI has been focusedon the theories of educators, curriculum, and teaching.
