As the core force to propel society forward, teachers impart knowledge; standardize thecode of conducts and shape values of human beings. They have been transferring a variety ofsocial regulations to people in the course of teaching and internalization so that the individualsocialization could be realized.Student teachers are the vital force of teaching and their professional level has aprofound impact on the value and function of education. Furthermore, it has a deep influenceon what policies to take when education is facing current opportunities and challenges. Underthe background of basic education reform in China, it is meaningful to observe the status ofstudent teachers in order to help them obtain employment and smoothly change their identitywhich is from a student teacher to a real teacher. Consequently, it is indispensable for thedevelopment of teacher human resources to focus on the student teacher’s socialization.The study starts with the internal and external causes which influence student teacher’ssocialization. In the light of existing studies and theories in the fields of psychology, sociology,pedagogy and management, a conceptual model is proposed and its formative elements areempirically explored. In the meanwhile, an analysis framework that is on the basis ofmultidimensional influencing factors of student teacher’s socialization is built. Afterwards,case study is put into use to explore the overall picture of student teacher’s socialization andfurther analysis to guiding methods of student teachers is carried on.Introduction mainly presents the background of this study, including researchsignificance, research content, research thoughts and research methods.Chapter one, which is the mainly about the literature review, introduces theories ofstudent teacher’s socialization and the transformation of research paradigm, includinginterrelated socialization theories in sociology, psychology, anthropology and management.Chapter tow goes into details about the design scheme of the study, in which the studyframework is proposed and elaborated after fully analyzing the existing research frameworksof various subjects.Chapter three is a quantitative analysis about a group of music student teachers in Jilinprovince, whose socialization features are observed and analyzed.Chapter four is a qualitative analysis that particularly describes the socializationdevelopment patterns of two student teachers in Y school and another two student teachers inJ school. This chapter describes teaching practice provisions, circumstances of intern schoolsand detailed information about these four sample student teachers, which is used forcomparing the differences of student teacher’s socialization development in various organization environment. The development laws of student teacher’s socialization aresummarized and the features of student teacher’s socialization are comprehensively analyzed.Chapter five is the conclusions. This study finds the reality of the plight of studentteacher’s socialization, including the implicit hidden system, invisible course in organizationcontexts and confusion and perplexity of student teacher’s socialization. A guiding scheme isproposed and an initial attempt is made in the practice teaching of music student teacher.
