As a traditional ethnic characters of Zhuang nationality, ancient Zhuang characters is a writing and semiotic system created to record Zhuang language based on Chinese character symbols as well as "six principles"(Liu Shu). New Zhuang characters as also called as Zhuang characters or Pinyin Zhuang characters which are the Pinyin characters of Latin letter type created after the foundation of the People’s Republic of China. New Zhuang characters have been used in the bilingual language education in part of the schools in the Zhuang nationality area and it is wining the acceptance and approval of the Zhuang nationality society. However, the inheritance of ancient Zhuang characters is facing a crisis at present. The young generation of the Zhuang nationality has little and little knowledge of ancient Zhuang characters. The continuity of traditional culture of ancient Zhuang characters is facing severe challenge of modernization. How to face to this challenge so as to realize modern transformation of ancient Zhuang characters’inheritance way? This is the core issue of this article’s research. Ancient Zhuang characters are the important symbols of the Zhuang nationality identifying with Chinese culture. The modern inheritance of ancient Zhuang characters will be helpful to inherit the special gene of traditional culture of the Zhuang nationality which is the meaning of the study in this paper.Modern information technological revolution brings the inheritance and development of traditional culture a new opportunity which could be grasped to realize the informational inheritance of ancient Zhuang characters and inject new vitality into the traditional culture of ancient Zhuang characters. Educational technology is chosen as the entrypoint of studying the core issues above by this paper. This paper proposes the theoretical assumption of "learning ancient Zhuang characters based on new Zhuang characters" so as to take it as the practice strategy of modern transformation of ancient Zhuang characters inheritance and try to verify the feasibility of the theoretical assumption of "learning ancient Zhuang characters based on new Zhuang characters" by the practice of informatization inheritance of ancient Zhuang characters. The informatization inheritance of ancient Zhuang characters needs the support of modern information technology. This research develops input method of both ancient and new Zhuang characters and educational games for learning both ancient and new Zhuang characters and put the developed software into practical application so as to check its actual effect. Method including document analysis, field work and system analysis are employed by this study, besides, technological development and practical application are carried out. The following is the main content of research in this paper:(1) Strategy of "Learning ancient Zhuang characters based on new Zhuang characters" is proposed targeting at the modern inheritance of ancient Zhuang characters and demonstration is made is prove its rationality. Since new Zhuang characters is a modern writing system for Zhuang nationality implemented legally by China, the promotion of ancient Zhuang characters’inheritance under the background of new Zhuang characters’application is a relatively active strategy."Learning ancient Zhuang characters based on new Zhuang characters", taking new Zhuang characters as major part while ancient Zhuang characters the minor, means mastering ancient Zhuang characters on the basis of learning new Zhuang characters with the purpose of integrating modern development of ethnic language and characters with inheritance of traditional culture. From the view of educational anthropology, both "based o new Zhuang characters"(developing the education of modern Zhuang characters) and "learning ancient Zhuang characters"(inheriting traditional culture of Zhuang language) have their internal educational necessity.(2) Construct the systematic model of factors which have impact on ancient characters’informational inheritance and their correlations. In order to know the realistic possibility of ancient characters’inheritance, concerning factors and relations should be investigated. Factors influencing the information inheritance of ancient characters, analyzed from six aspects including target, object, psychology, motive, cultural environment and technology, could be concluded as "unique life and culture of Zhuang nationality","ancient Zhaung characters","national identity","cultural self-consciousness","Han and other nationalities’culture" and "modern informational technology".(3) Develop and practice input method of both ancient and new Zhuang characters, and educational games for learning both ancient and new Zhuang characters. Pinyin input method of ancient Zhuang characters could output ancient Zhaung characters by input new Zhuang characters, which is an important application tool of learning ancient Zhuang characters and of commonality. Input method of new Zhuang characters makes it easy for users to use new Zhuang characters. Educational games are a kind of digital learning resource provided in both ancient and new Zhuang characters. Practical application of software gains some achievements.
